You forgot the rest of the quote:

"...and then Al signs whoever the hell he wants to."

Tough smart players with discipline, eh? I wonder how the Randy Ratio fits into that equation?

Moss has been a model citizen here.

What has impressed Turner is Moss' attitude, which is quite a stretch from the sometimes-sullen days in Minnesota.

"He's a guy that's going to help our young guys," Turner says. "He's been great with our young guys. ... When he steps on the practice field, (he) knows how to go, how to work."

Second-year offensive tackle Robert Gallery agrees.

"I've seen it from the first day he was here," Gallery says. "Great attitude, very positive and a vocal leader in the huddle. I know he's had a big influence on me."

Veteran receiver Jerry Porter digs such talk.

"He's not anything like the media portrays him to be," he says. "I mean, he may have done whatever it is he's done, but as far as being a leader and motivating the younger guys, he's been all that."

Moss has indicated he would have preferred to have been more of a silent leader, less demonstrative, but soon realized players wanted more than that. That's one of the reasons he decided to do the push-ups thing for dropped passes.

"A lot of guys look at me for a lot of leadership, and catching balls is definitely one of those points," he said. "I don't like to drop balls. It makes me mad."

It does during film sessions, as well, as evidenced by an early training camp gathering. Drops were duly noted with push-ups by offending players.

"We had about five guys on the floor. ... We like to have fun," Moss said.

For Curry, who was curious about the effect of the trade, Moss has been nothing but positive.

"I wanted to get to know him before I made any type of judgment about the guy," he says. "And it's been great. Like I said, he just invites people in, and you can't help but like him."

Adds Collins: "I contend a lot of the things that happened in Minnesota were overblown, and everything I've seen from him so far has been extremely positive. I nor anybody else here will judge him based on what we've heard or read. We're just going to go by what we see — which is pretty good so far."

I guess so, cant argue that one. For our sake, I hope the old Randy shows up.

I don't because the new one might be a model citizen but he doesn't play like the old one. The old one was a flava clown but played at the highest level for a WR.

LOL

Raiders get rejected three times by Petrino, Whisenhunt says no, so they go back to the old reject closet in Art Shell.

As stated above, Whisenhunt has left Oakland after taking a dump. That is the only legitimate reason for going to Oakland......
