The funny part about it is that a good amount of the chicks aren't even hot. they dressed up some decent looking girls, and a few dogs, and are trying to pass them off as hot chicks. There were only about 2-3 chicks who I would consider hot. But they lost all their hottness points by being on the show. That one chick "Hoops" is very hot, but I don't think I could even touch her after watching her trying to get with Flav.

I first watched this a couple of weeks ago when I was at the gym trapped on the treadmill trying to get my 4 miles in because we had too much snow on the ground...(Makes me think I might have to start running in the snow!) :)

Anyway, It was great for laughing...I kept thinking to myself, "Are these women for real??" WTF is up with these women setting aside their self respect for a man that probably could care less about anything outside of when his next lay will come! But,...and a big BUT, I was a bit shocked at one of the interviews with him actually wanting to weed out the "gold diggers" from that crowd. I swear some of those women on that show give women a bad rep!

None the less, it was somewhat entertaining and definitely good for a lot of laughs! Hilarious!

I caught the show yesterday afternoon, I think before the pro-bowl game. Anyway I was rolling on the floor when Hottie got ripped to shreds by Flav. The "fight" that followed was also top notch comedy. I almost forgot about the bizarre dinner Flav took Hoopz and her mother to at Medievil Times, where Flav was "Knighted".

Pumpkin's face is so ugly it kills me. I was glad to see her go, especially in the way she went out spitting. She's nothing more than a reality whore. I saw her on an episode of MTV's stupid show Next (that's redundant, I suppose).

Hoopz obviously has a much better body, face, and personality than New York, so I hope Flav doesn't choose her. New York has to be an actress, the way she's behaved on this show.

Well first off I saw this thread but didnt want to open it because I was actually watching the show here on the west coast. Couple things jumped out at me and one was New York's mom, now I know where New York gets her attitude from. This is the best show...EVER!!!! Who ever came up with this should get $5 from everybody in the world for bringing us this show. I have never laughed so hard. It's great.

NY's mom is a b#@ch. Her pops seems cool. I don't see how the guy deals with her. NY has a great body, but that face, no thanks.

Hoopz is super fine. Like a lot of other people, I kind of have a problem watching her with Flav. Just doesn't seem right.

But I don't think he is going to pick NY. Hoopz is finer. Hoopz has a fine mom, who likes Flav, and Flav likes her back. Hoopz is bi...ain't nothing wrong with that. And Hoopz isn't crazy, like NY. Flav has already had an issue with NY's attitude towards him and other women. Flav said this show isn't about him finding a girlfriend. That he's still going to be with other women. NY is going to be too much of a problem for all of that.

I can't wait until next week.

This week was great. I was standing the entire show, like I was watching a Broncos game or something. I was cheering at my TV. NY had that coming. I just wish Pumkin would have followed it with a right to the jaw.

I have never heard anybody that watches the show say anything other than it's the funniest thing on TV. I've heard people say that they thought it was going to be stupid when the first flipped it on, but then got hooked as soon as they watched it.

Is it dumb? Yes. But if dumb is done right, it's very funny. This is pretty much a spoof on all those bachelor shows. That's probably why it's so funny.

I watched the marathon on VH1 last night. I'm caught up except for the most recent episode. I'm surprised New York made it this far given she dropped the "L" word on Flav. I thought he would have run from her like a banshee...

That's a very good point.

Flav pretty much fell off the face of the earth for a long time after PE's run was over. I'm pretty sure he got by with shows they did, but probably not big money. That's why he ended up on the Surreal Life. The guy is back now. He probably made a good amount off the Surreal Life. Then he did that spin off with that Bridget chick, which I'm sure paid him a lot more. Now he's the star of his own show. He was probably broke a couple years back. Now the guy is paid big time. Flav of Love might be the highest rated show on VH1. He's gotta be pulling down a few million off of this.

Flav seems to have found his niche. He's a real life character that works great in these "spoof" reality shows. If he picks NY, another spin off will probably be on the way. I'm pretty sure VH1, or Flav's advisors, are telling him that.

Hoopz is hot. Way hotter than NY. But hot chicks are a dime a dozen. NY is drama, and that mother of hers is even more drama. Drama, and funny drama at that, makes for great TV.

I'd hate for a hot chick like Hoopz to end up with Flav, and I don't want to see the show end. So I'm rooting for NY.

Im telling you FLAVOR OF MARRIAGE featuring his lovely wife hoopz. Since this show is sort of a spoof of Bachelor then maybe its time to do a spoof on The Ozzbornes or the Barkers. I dont think it is so much the women but damn Flav is hilarious, you know what time it is? ;D

The show comes on at noon, 10 pm, and mid night. So I don't think the Academy Awards is an issue. I'd say they are just trying to squeeze one more week out of the show. It worked, because I watched the recap at noon, and I'll probably watch it again tonight, even though I'm upset that they are doing this. I just can't get enough of the show.

According to the show, he didn't hit it with Goldie. Both her and Flav pretty much said that she didn't give it up. But yeah, that dude knocked it out with Pumkin. They showed them on the bed, then nothing else was said about it. Draw your own conclutions.

I still say it's going to be NY just because of ratings. Hoopz is fine, but fine chicks are a dime a dozen on TV and in the modeling world. NY is drama, which makes great TV. A spin off with NY would be great. I'd say a spin off with Hoopz wouldn't be as good.

As much as I don't like NY, the show is better with her on it because of the drama factor. She's crazy, thinks shes hot (when she looks like she's been around the block too many times), and she's major drama. You can't write stuff like that.

The show premieres on Sundays at noon. Everybody who's a fan of the show would have seen it way before the awards came on. And I'd say that the fan base for this show is different from the fan base of the awards.

As for the Super Bowl, that's an all day event, so it's smart to avoid that. I'd say a ton of guys are watching this show, so it's smart to avoid the Super Bowl.

The recap was great for me.

Hoopz is fine! NY does add drama to the show but she looks like the bottom of my feet! She even looks like a guy sometimes. Any references to her having a sex change operation?

Also, it may have been mentioned before, but does anyone else notice when Flav wants to kiss the women, they all act like they have reservations about doing so? It's almost like they take a deep breathe, close their eyes and take one for the team. Even Brigette barely wanted him to kiss her.
