It's been a while since I've done one of my incredibly popular ;D competitive eating reports so here goes.
At the Goldenpalace.com grilled cheese eating contest "The Passion of the Crust" earlier this week Sonya Thomas won by eating 26 sandwiches eeking out a victory by 1/2 a sandwich over 21 year old Joey "Jaws" Chestnut.
Chestnut was undaunted and took the 14th annual wing bowl in Philly by downing 173 wings. Many insiders consider this a tainted victory since the contest organizers this year only opened the contest to individua;s who had not previously competed.
