Mark Gaughan, of the Buffalo News, reports Buffalo Bills CB Nate Clements is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason and could have the franchise tag used on him by the team. The cost to franchise tag a cornerback dropped by $2.91 million, from $8.8 million to $5.89 million, for the 2006 season.

The cost of the franchise tag depends on the average salaries of the top 5 players at a given position. If their salaries go down, so does the cost of the franchise tag.

I heard Clements wants to be the highest paid Cornerback in the NFL. I laughed hysterically when i heard it, it had to be a joke.

Easy there fellas! He's a Colts fan, he's still dealing with the fact that his team was the first team to ever start 14-0 and not make it to the Super Bowl!
Not to mention the dude has Hulk Hogan in his Avie!

You always have been. You come here and post nothing but lame attempts to irritate people, but all you really succeed in doing is making yourself look like an asshat.
Keep trying though, maybe you'll stumble across an original thought eventually.
