Hmmmm.....

Reggie Bush - The obvious pick but there is alot of cap already tie up in the running game...Does his game translate to Sundays

Vince Young - hometown guy definitely would be a popular pick.... Huge upside, Huge Downside....

D'Brickashaw Ferguson - This is what the team really needs... but will i survive my first draft if i try this.

Hmmmm.... Gonna have to mull this one over a little.

With the first pick in the 2006 NFL Draft the Houston Texans select….

D'Brickashaw Ferguson Offensive Tackle | Senior | Virginia

Height: 6-5 | Weight: 295 | 40-Time: 5.10

Strengths:
Has rare athletic ability for the position...Feet are second to none and he is like a big dancing bear...Extremely quick and agile with outstanding mobility...Balance is outstanding...Has long arms...Is amazing in pass protection...Has a large frame with a lot of growth potential...Smart player who is constantly improving...Still has a lot of upside...Is very durable...Has a ton of experience having started at left tackle as a true freshman...Character and intangibles are outstanding.

Weaknesses:
Began his career with the Cavs at 260 lbs. and has been doing a good job of adding weight but he needs to continue to get bigger and stronger...Will the extra bulk affect his mobility?...Still a bit undersized by pro standards and could get pushed around a little, especially in the run game...May play a little soft and could stand to show more of a killer instinct and some extra attitude.

Notes:
May have gone as high as #2 or #3 overall in the 2005 NFL Draft had he come out after his junior season...The type of rare franchise left tackle that doesn't come around very often...Should be one of the premier prospects available.

He'll be waiting a while then. The only person I can remember showing any interest in trading into the top 10 was me and I already took care of that. Everyone else who was looking to make a deal were trying to move down.

I thought the class ended up ok. It filled the holes. As far as Ashley switching it seems pretty odd. He signed his LOI to NU awhile go, flunked a class then he had to make it up. Because he had to make it up he couldn't get into spring ball at NU. I guess you have to question when Washington started talking to him again. Palmer doesn't make or break the class but he was a pretty damn good player with three years left. Who knows how it will play out though. I guess he talked to Blake yesterday about things, its a mess though. A top 20 class isn't that bad after a top 5 class though. Winning more next year would only help later on.

With the Second pick in the 2006 NFL Draft the New Orleans Saints select….

VINCE YOUNG!

http://www.mackbrown-texasfootball.com/images/2003_04/mugs_100/young_vince_mug.jpg

Overview:
While many people think that Vince Young won't be playing quarterback in the NFL, with the improvement he's made as a passer, he will be an NFL QB. His speed and agility will make him the second most feared running quarterback in the league, and his arm strength will allow him to make the throws he needs to.

Leinart seems like the perfect fit with McNair nearing the end of the road and Norm Chow on board in Tennessee.

But we're only two picks into this draft and it's been full of surprises already. I'm very curious to see who'll still be on the board when the Broncos are on the clock at #6. :)

It's not a requirement, but I'm curious as to the justification of these picks. Actually, if everybody can include their justification I think it would be nice to read. Doesn't have to be super lengthy. Maybe just a couple lines about departing players at the position, team weaknesses or depth improvement... whatever is kewl.

It seems like a perfect fit, but also keep in mind that Chow is familiar with Reggie Bush. He may well decide that keeping Volek and going with Reggie Bush would help the franchise more, and ultimately talk Fisher into going that way.

I can do that..... watch!

Houston Texans, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT, Virginia.

Lets be honest here. David Carr is a bit of an engima but that's only b/c he can't get to his 2nd step in a three step drop. He's been hit more than fellow Houstonian George Foreman and doesn't even have a grill named after him to show. They should name a whole freaking cooking range after David Carr for all the hits he takes! So anyhow, that's the reasoning for not taking Vince Young or Matt Leinart and one of many reasons for taking Da Brick over Homer. Bush is an electric RB and could instantly be one of the best in the league. BUT, Dom Davis puts up quality yards and Touchdowns behind a very suspect OL. With Kubiak in town you can expect the Texans to run more than ever and they already have the RB so that leaves a line to run behind.

New Orleans Saints, QB Vincent Young, Texas.
This makes sense. Like Randy Moss mentoring Terrell Owens or Rod Smith leaning on Michael Irvin for advice in life. I mean, you fail miserably with a running QB for years, why not bring another one to town. You have to feel for VY though, I'm sure he'd gladly return a couple million dollars to go to Tenn or NY. Hell, he'd probably give up 5 million to go to Detroit!

Aaron Brooks is all but gone. New Orleans has been eyeing Texas’ Vince Young. Young may not have the talent of Matt Leinart, but it’s a close race, and Young will bring more fans back into the renovated Superdome (even those from nearby Houston, Young's hometown) and hopefully rejuvenate a struggling franchise

ColoradoBuff

With the 3rd overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, the Tennesee Titans select.............QB Matt Leinart, USC!

Strengths:
The consummate team leader and field general whose leadership abilities and intangibles are off the charts...Can dissect a defense with the best of them...Good size and a solid frame...Has good throwing mechanics...Shows excellent touch and puts the ball where is wideouts can make plays...Extremely productive...Has ice in his veins and seems to rise to the occasion in the biggest games...Tough player and a gamer...Very smart and makes good decisions...Mature young man with his head on straight...All he does is win...Is ready to start in the NFL now.

Weaknesses:
Durability is a concern since he had a major shoulder injury to his throwing arm in high school and then had elbow surgery prior to his senior campaign with the Trojans...Arm strength is adequate but nothing to write home about...Some question whether he is really as good as he has looked or more of a product of the system and supporting cast...Is not in Carson Palmer's class physically.

Notes:
Heisman Trophy winner who opted to return to school for his final year of eligibility despite being projected as the #1 overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft...In the mold of Tom Brady as a guy who more than makes up for any physical shortcomings he may have with top intangibles...Will be one of the first players chosen and could be the type of guy you can build a franchise around.

And Bush has fallen to #4. Very interesting. Looking forward to the Jets pick.

A quick write up on Leinart to TEN:

With the end of McNair's career as a Titan looming, Fisher grabs '04 Heisman winner Matt Leinart with the 3rd overall pick. Leinart is reunited with former collegiate offensive coordinator Norm Chow, now filling the same role for the Titans. With Bush still on the board it must have been a tough choice, but after spending a 3rd to acquire Travis Henry last year, as well as already having Chris Brown, the Titans were pretty set at the HB position. The same could have been said for the QB position with Volek on the roster, but apparently the organization does not see him as a long term answer. Leinart is very polished and also knows Chow's offense, its very possible he could win the starting job in camp and take the reins opening day.

Does this put Volek on the trade block? It would seem very likely. Matt Mauck started the last game of the season for the Titans.

How would trading for future picks work? Technically shouldn't the trades done last year for draft picks carry over?

After much deliberation, the Broncos are ready to make their selection. There were a few players we were considering with this pick, while our first choice was taken one spot ahead of us, we're not at all unhappy with plan B. Therefore........

With the 6th pick in the 2006 OM Draft, the Denver Broncos are proud to select Haloti Ngata, DT, University of Oregon.

http://www.draftdaddy.com/images/players/halotiNgata_decJun.jpg
6'5, 338 lbs.

The Broncos were happy with the depth they enjoyed on the defensive line last season, but moved up with the idea of upgrading in mind. Mike Myers was serviceable, but we feel that the combination of Ngata, alongside the (hopefully) soon to be re-signed Gerard Warren, will give us one of the top DT tandems in the NFL.

This pick was made on Sunday, February 5th at 3:50 P.M. MST.

CO, what did you have to give up to get to #6? Whatever it was if we gave up 22,29 for Ngata, I'd be disgusted.

Broncoman13
02-05-2006, 05:13 PM
For the record, if we trade up all the way to #6 I will be beyond pissed if we don't hit on an impact skill position player. I'm not saying the Ngata isn't good, but he's not worth two first round picks any way you slice it... nor is Mario Williams.

Now, on to the Faiders. They would prefer to trade down a bit here. They would've loved to get their hands on either Young or Leinart but the deals just didn't pan out. Being that there isn't a trade down to #10-13 available at the moment and it's too early to settle on Cutler, the Oakland Raiders select OLB A.J. Hawk.

A.J. is simply all over the field on defense. He absolutely flies to the football, probably better than any other player in the country, evidenced by his 141 tackles during his junior season; that’s right, 141. Hawk’s on field speed was merely reaffirmed by his 4.4 40 yard dash that he ran at the ’05 Ohio St. pro day, stealing the show from all the outgoing seniors on hand. He can cover and play the run with the best of them. The Faiders are a team that love offense, but I'm betting that even the Faiders are too stupid to miss on this pick. Unfortunately for the Broncos, the Raiders get a player that will instantly become one of the best LB's in the entire AFC, let alone the AFC West.

Selection made at 5:10 pm (CST), Feb 5, 2005.

Then I guess you'll be disgusted because that's what I gave up, 22 & 29. I wanted to grab an impact player at a desired position and Ngata was up there with Mario Williams & LenDale White on my board.

I didn't feel the need to be conservative and wait to see who fell. The Broncos don't have gaping holes to fill and now have a potential franchise player at DT. The strength of Jacksonville's defense is the interior of their defensive line with Stroud & Henderson. If Ngata lives up to his potential, he & Warren will wreak havoc up front for us as those two do for the Jags.

Broncoman13
02-05-2006, 05:21 PM
Ngata is good like I said, but if you think that we're benefiting more from a move like this than say staying put at 22 and 29 and drafting the likes of Ko Simpson/Michael Huff and Bunkley/Wright... well I disagree. I'd much rather take the chances on those two guys rather than just one early on.

It's all cool, the only reason I was trading up is beacause this is all for fun. If this was realistic team building, it makes plenty more sense to stay put and fill two needs.

At the same time, Ngata would look real good in the middle of our line. I think we'll get a good look at him next season because I can see the Fade grabbing him with the 6th/7th pick.

Apologies for the delay but with no trade offers forthcoming the Bills select:

Michael Huff DB Texas, after adding Rocky Barnard DT, Seahawks and LeCharles Bentley C, Saints via free agency the Bills felt there were no better value/need players at the 8th slot. Huff fills a major hole in a new cover 2 defense with ageing safeties Milloy(possible cut) and Vincent. Bills shore up other areas of need on their team by restructuring Moulds huge contract and releasing Mike Williams creating decent cap room for Free Agency.

With the 9th pick in the 2006 NFL draft the Detroit Lions select:

Tamba Hali, DE, Penn State.

Rationale: Marianelli is a defensive coach, and the DL is the biggest area of concern for the Lions defense. Redding, Williamson, and Cody are solid on the interior, but James Hall is average and Redding is a free agent. Hali has a motor that won't stop and can help not only the DL, but can keep the CBs from having to cover WRs for long periods of time.

Position: Defensive End

School: Penn State

Status: Senior

Height: 6-3

Weight: 265

40-Yard Dash: 4.75 (EST)

Positives:
An experienced pass rusher, Tamba Hali might be the most polished of all defensive ends in the 2006 NFL Draft. He is a natural athlete with good size and speed to match up at the next level. Hali sprung to the top of the draft board with his phenomenal senior campaign. He is a leader and a workhorse. Hali has put up big sack numbers and was a main reason for Penn State’s success this past season.

Negatives:
Hali played on a very good defense in 2005 and didn’t truly begin to shine until his senior year. He doesn’t have the quickest reactions, but good enough to make plays.

Overview:
Tamba Hali is an outstanding defensive presence and will really put pressure in the backfield. While he doesn’t have the best overall height, he has a good reach to get around the mammoth tackles in the NFL. Hali, with impressive workouts, could vault himself into the top 10 and one of the top defensive linemen taken.

Pick was made at 10:35 PM EST/8:35 PM MST/7:35 PM PST

wow socal pulled off a good trade.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. With Willamson the Vikes get a dynamic duo.

Williamson can stretch the field and Davis can go across the middle and punish punk safeties.

It's a perfect fit. It makes Burly the possesion reciever instead of the #1.

I have a bruiser, a cruiser and a speedboat. Mock's armada is ready to atack Tokyo.

I don't really know why I'm attacking Tokyo, but since we stripped their army, navy and airforce, it seems a good retribution target...screw the treaty...Ha!

If Anyone from 13-16 want to move up to 12 it would require your 1st round and a third rounder

If anyone 17-20 want to move up it would require your 1st and 2nd rounder

Let me know or else the Browns will be ready to pick after the Rams pick

With the 11th pick in the Orange Mane Draft, the St Louis Rams select CB/S Jimmy Williams from Virginia Tech.

The Rams need help on defense badly and whether Williams turns out to be a CB or safety, he should start immediately. He has a reputation as a trash talker. Normally I don't care for this, but the Rams defense was so passive last year, they could use a holler guy.

I pretty much had to address the secondary with this pick. The Rams are terrible at CB and they still might lose Archuleta as a free agent. Fortunately, Williams can probably play CB or safety. I might even come back with another CB in round two.

The Cleveland Browns select

Chad Greenway LB Iowa

A great athlete, who makes plays all over the field. Is an intelligent player, and is definitely one of the best linebackers in the nation.

Compared to Brian Urlacher.

The Browns really wanted Ngata or Hali because their biggest need is a DT/DE but with both of them gone we looked to our second biggest need at LB

Chaun Thompson has shown improvement, but the fact that he is their second best LB is a bit scary. They could use help both inside and outside, as Matt Stewart (outside) and Ben Taylor (inside) both shouldn't be starting.

The addition of Greenway, will bring both intensity and leadership to a shaky linebacker core.

Although, grabbing Lendale White did cross my mind, the DEF needed to be addressed first and OL and a offensive playmaker help can be addressed in Round 2 or 3

The RAVENS and Mr. Peepers are now on the clock...

Greenway will be a fine lB and i coveted him. he is right in the gradishar/meck/urlacher mold and could be moved inside. I was looking at taking the Hawkeye at 17 but didn't think he would get there...LB is still a Viking need a typicaly poor performance by the D in Hornhead land. i think Davis will be an all-pro...Greenway will be solid.

in the actual draft, expect the HornHeads to jump on him if he's there at 17. I had him slotted to me but SoCal made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

I agree with you watermock about Vernon Davis.. I think the guy is going to be a monster.

I hope he doesnt go to the Rams though cause then he might get lost in their mix of offensive weapons.. He would prob be a monster on the Panthers but there is no way he lasts that long. Bears wouldnt be a bad place for him either.

Opinion: Since you grabbed him with the Vikes.. In your opinion, do you think Wiggins's days are numbered there??? Wiggins seems to catch a ton of balls for them. I might be mistaken but I think Wiggins was their leading reciever 2 years straight.

The draft card is in. With the #14 pick the Philadelphia Eagles select.

Mathias Kiwanuka, DE, Boston College
6'7", 261 lbs.

The best value on the board was Deangelo Williams and LenDale White but Philly has their RB in Brian Westbrook. A redzone RB will be probably be addressed later in the draft. LB and WR are also needs for Philly but I didn't see the value in the first round. Kiwi had rough practices at the Senior Bowl and was unable to play in the actual game. If not for this he would have been a top ten pick. Kiwi will be an upgrade over Trent Cole at the RDE position. He will have to prove that he can hold up against the run in the pros but is a beast at rushing the passer and his height will allow him to bat down passes. Would have taken a strong look at Chad Greenway here if the Browns would not have snatched him up.

While I agree with you on some of your points,(stronger arm and all that other jazz) remember Whitehurst had equal amount of time to learn the new WRs during that week. I also said I think he is picked by the Cards for real, I was just pointing out that Whitehurst could be a good pick up for a team in the later rounds.

I think Cutler is a 2nd round talent that will get drafted in the first round based on position and needs. Honestly, there isn't much difference between Frye and Cutler. Frye was a 3rd rounder, Cutler likely a 1st.

When you sit down and really look at it, last year's draft was just as deep as this years... in rounds 2 and 3 I mean. Perhaps even more so. This year's draft was hyped b/c you had true Bluechip prospects in the top 3. Plus, with Bush and Young coming out that fills out the top 5. Then you add in the Mario Williams and Ngata's and you end up with a pretty solid top 10 no matter who goes in the 8,9,10 range. After that though, the talent is pretty similar to last years.

I think you are close on Cutler, but I would put him as more of a 4th round talent, based on what has happend in the past.

When comparing the strength of this draft to last year what really stands out are the RBs, OL and defensive players. This draft is short on top flight WRs, Kickers and QBs but exceptionally strong in the other areas. I think there could be 30 OL that are drafted this year that will start in the league within a couple of years.

I have to disagree. There are a lot of guys in this year's draft who would have been picked significantly higher had they come out last year, and its not through bad play on their part. The excessive number of underclassmen that jumped ship this year has stocked the pool. Its weak in some areas, namely WR, but the OL and every defensive position in this draft is as stacked if not moreso than any draft in recent history.

I think the problem is a lot of people assume that since this draft is billed as being "stacked" that it means theres a stud at every position. There isn't. WR is lacking, QB depth isn't much better, if even as good, as last year's, it just has a few big name headliners. RB depth is pretty good, but not really much better outside of the top 3-5 RBs than your average class.

On the other hand we see a crop of TEs that make every recent class look sad in comparision. We have a group of OLs that just goes on and on and on. We have DLs that would have been top 10 talent last year sliding to the second half of the first, cornerback depth equal to a great class from last year, and the best crop of linebackers in a good long while, to the point where we might actually see four or five LBs taken in round one, how long has it been since that happened?

This is the deepest draft in a long time overall, but it is VERY heavily skewed towards the lines and defense. If you want an exceptional offensive skill position player you'll probably find yourself out of luck. If you want to shore up the trenches and lay down the core of a good D though, this is the year to make it happen.

Billy Clyde Puckett
02-08-2006, 02:34 PM
Yes there are 4-5 TEs in this draft better than Heath Miller and the OL and DL depth is incredible.

I disagree about the RB depth though, I think it is very strong and a guy that goes as the 10th RB this year will be as good as the 4th or 5th RB last year.

Outside Linebacker
As much as some Pats fans might disagree, they are in serious trouble here. McGinnest and Vrabel are both free agents this offseason, and even if they manage to keep both LBs, McGinnest turns 35 next season. While Vrabel is playing as well as he ever has, I doubt he takes a small contract in return for his services, and the Pats don't have much cap room. They could also use some youth here with both starters in their 30s, so even if both are signed, a future starter is needed. Rosevelt Colvin has the talent to replace McGinnest, but hasn't been himself since the injury. I could see him doing the job well, but I don't know if the Pats can depend on that. And Tully Banta-Cain? Just not a good starting option

Playmaker
It can be debated back and forth what direction the Niners should go with what will likely be a top five pick. No matter what direction they go in, it’s obvious they need more playmakers on both sides of the ball. Reggie Bush is certainly on their radar as he is for a couple of other team who might get the top pick, If San Francisco loses out on the top offensive playmaker, they could look at the defensive side of the ball where names like Mario Williams, A.J. Hawk and Jimmy Williams make more than their share of plays.

Running Back
A need for a franchise that has squeezed just about everything it could out of Kevan Barlow. Barlow is an ideal third down back and would be among the best backups in the league, but he doesn’t do any one thing well enough to merit being a starter. Bush is the obvious player to plug in and immediately add one or two wins to the bottom line. Laurence Maroney and DeAngelo Williams are the other top backs in this draft although neither is in the class of Bush.

With the 17th pick of the draft, the San Francisco 49ers select......

UCLA TE Marcedes Lewis
http://www.draftshowcase.com/MarcedesLewis2.jpg

SF has alot of needs, but perhaps most of all, they need a big time weapon on offense for QB Alex Smith. This WR class is below average and I dont like to reach. Lewis is very athletic, has excellent hands and runs precise routes. Was very impressive in the Senior Bowl practices. He also can stretch the defense deep despite a purported slow 40 time. This kid is a great athlete and playmaker and he hasnt even reached the ceiling yet, even though he has been very productive at UCLA the last two years. He will be a huge upgrade over the often injured and quite mediocre Eric Johnson. Some people are wondering why SF did not go for running backs White or Williams, but I have faith in Frank Gore. He had a fine rookie year and has an excellent combination of vision and power.

The pick was made at 5:24 Pacific Standard Time, February 8th.

The Dallas Cowboys (Bronco LB 52) are on the clock.

Who were the other 2 of your top 3?

Well I can tell you one of them- TE Leonard Pope of Georgia. I really wanted to make sure I got Alex Smith at least 1 big time weapon in this draft and as I said I dont believe there is a single wide reciever worthy of a first round pick. And I felt good at RB with Gore's rookie year and potential. Obviously, White or Williams were arguably the best player available (although I really like Lewis) but I dont subscribe to the Best Player Available Theory of drafting. In fact I think its atrocious and produces absurd results. The Pure Needs Theory of drafting is a little bit better but even that creates situations where you reach, which I am unwilling to do at WR. So you have to combine it. My system is that you rank every position on the team in terms of what you have and see what each prospect would provide in terms of how much they would increase that ranking. Lewis increases the TE ranking more than White/Williams increases the RB ranking. I like this style better because it helps to prevent reaches (if you rank yourself as only a 5 out of 10 at WR, reaching for a 2nd/3rd round talent at 1, doesnt add a hell of alot to your ranking) and it also helps to prevent the absurd results that may occur when you follow the BPA theory (i.e. you rank yourself at 8 out of 10 at a position and a big time player falls to your spot, he may be the BPA but he doesnt add a hell of alot to your ranking). So I like to think this combines the strengths of BPA and Needs theory while minimizing the weaknesses. The big thing is whether you correctly asses where you are at the various positions and what each prospect would add.

I didnt have a problem allowing Mock to take Vernon Davis at 10 because I actually had Lewis ranked the highest of the TEs and I knew at 17, one of Lewis and Pope would definitely be there. The other guy in my top 3 I cant say, because I am hoping he is still around at Pick 2A, although ive got a list of 5 guys I am considering there if he isnt still there.

Would Alex Smith go in the top ten this year?

I mean, realistically, he shouldn't have gone before the fourth round last year, frigging Marc Wilson clone, but still, could you draft Alex Smith over, lets say, any of the top seven picks in this mock draft?

No way. It makes you realize how tough of a spot the niners were in last year. They did Alex Smith no favors by throwing him under the bus. The niners are destined to be bad for a while. They got rid of Rattay for peanuts when he was actually doing a decent job the first couple weeks. In my mock last year I had them taking Braylon Edwards. With a good QB he has a good career ahead of him.

Alex Smith, Chris Simms, Phil Rivers, Kyle Boller, Joey Harrington- IMO NONE of the aforementioned would be drafted in the first round this year! Well, at least not in the top 20, shall we say. However, I haven't given up on any of those guys yet. Boller and Harrington, some might say, have had their chances; and while that may be true, we all know it takes some QB's 5 years to "mature" into a decent NFL player. Sometimes just coaching makes a difference. Simms will get a good chance this year and Boller, well, who's to say. For sure though, both Rivers and Smith need more reps before being written off. I personally believe Alex will be a solid starter somewhere in the NFL after a few years and maybe a change of team; and Rivers may be starting this year right there in S.D., depending on what happens with Brees.

My pick of QB's this year, who IMO would have been # 1 picks in every draft to date if they'd been eligible, include only two- Jay Cutler and Matt Linehart (sp?). Cutler for his prototypical size, arm strength and manueverability, and Linehart for his leadership and accuracy. COACHING will be a great factor in each one's development, as will of course the TEAM that draft each one.

How can Denver trade up for a DT? Losing both firsts when we can put Warren in there and maybe still Pryce...if your going to trade up for DL, you get a pass rusher! I had the HornHeads trade up not only because Moss is gone but that Williamson looks more like Lelie every day.

This is going to be a controversial pick, but its a no-brainer to me.

With the eighteen pick in the NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select Lendale White, RB Southern California.

I thought long and hard about taking OT Winston Justice USC and WR Santonio Holmes but I am not completely sold on either one. I don't think either one will be an All-Pro. I didn't get any offers to trade down.

With the 26th pick the Eagles select Chad Jackson, WR, Florida.

The Eagles love to chuck the ball around and C-Jack is a playmaker. Good size, blazing speed, and good hands. I will go out on a limb and say that he will lead all rookie WR's in catches, yards, and TD's. He is an upgrade over Todd Pinkston who is more suited to a part time role. Jackson will compliment Reggie Brown well and give McNabb another prime target. There is a stigma about Florida WR's but I believe this guy will break that mold. After the combine, Jackson will be a LOCK to be taken in round 1.

Pick made at 7:12 pm CST.

Fair enough. But now, with the benefit of hindsight, I'm even more glad I traded up afer Kiwanuka & Hali were both off the board before 22. Upgrading the D-line was my number one priority and I knew that trading up that high would ensure me a shot at the kind of player I was looking for. I wanted an elite prospect for the D-line and got him. Ngata is a monster who can stop the run and get after the QB.

You can't build a great D-line on the cheap. :yep:
