So last night, after a lackluster 1st half, the Nuggets came out cold. Utah kept pushing the ball relentlessly, and we got our a$$es handed to us. It was like happy hour in the post from the end of the 3rd on, and we couldn't recover after their 13-1 run. Here's my question.

Can Francisco Elson really be the dominating force we need since Nene's out for the season and Camby keeps getting hurt?

Who do you think's going to step it up down the stretch, and pull this VERY talented (but slumpy) team through the playoffs?

Eh, losses happen. We really need a W though...

I dunno, as long as we win our division, I don't care what our record is. We're not gunna catch Phoenix or San Antonio most likely.

Once Nash falls off, Paul is the next great point guard.

Nuggs need to snap out of this losing streak if they want to keep that 2-3 game gap over the T-Wolves and the Jazz. Dunno what has happened but they were flying before Camby came back and they've been totally stale since his return. Is he 100% recovered from his injury?

No way! If we're healthy we're making it to the 2nd round.

I think Basketball sucks. I was a fairweather Jordan fan but other than watching final 4 here & there I don't waste my time on Pro BB.

I am sure I have crushed your will to live...

Not if they are matched up with SA, PHX, or Dal in first round. If it was still a 5 game series possibly but 7 chances aren't good. Granted one of those three will be 1 seed probably SA or Dal and I don't think Den faces either of those but there is some basketball left to be played. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Right now, the Nuggets are leading the Northwest division, putting them as the 3 seed, thus avoiding SA, Dallas, and Phoenix as first round opponents.

Denver needs to hold onto that lead, because if they don't win the division then they would be in as a 7th or 8th seed or maybe missing the playoffs entirely. So then the one and done will be on if they do not win the division, but with Utah, Minnesota, Seattle and Portland in the division, I really don't see Denver losing their leads.

As much as I think the seeding process needs some serious tinkering, I think that you have to take advantages of your situation. Denver needs to do this to avoid DAL and SA. They need to wrap up that 3 seed. Getting the 3 seed would match them up with a decent opponent. LA Clippers, Lakers, OKC, or Memphis should end up with that 6 seed, and they would matchup with Pheonix in Rd. 2 if they both take care of bidness. Denver has a much better shot at Phoenix then they have at Dallas or SA. Camby, Martin, and Anthony would give Phoenix trouble. If Anthony would commit to defensive effort, they could realistically take Phoenix down.
