And why does the Right consider the Constitution such an obstacle? The U.S. has won quite a few wars against much more dangerous enemies than Bin Laden without messing with the Constitution. The Right just needs to grow some balls and quit running around like a bunch of chicken littles, "Oh, I'm so afraid! Let's burn the Constitution!" Or like Cheney, "Hide me! Hide me!"

Why does the Left want to simplify this war and make it about Bin Laden? This is not about Bin Laden. This is about a whole network of individuals who are hell-bent in creating terror among freedom-loving citizens throughout the world. 9/11 didn't start Al-Qaeda and other groups wishing to create havoc. If we catch and/or kill Bin Laden, there will still be people trying to harm the United States. That's why we need to be ever vigilant and do everything we can to deter another strike against America. It WILL happen if we let our guard down...

If you're thinking the Civil War or WWII, then the Constitution was indeed very much "messed with", far more than currently.
