1.....Just thinking about Vernon Davis, stud TE....does he remind anyone of a David Boston? Something scares me, about pulling muscles, hamstrings, and healing from injuries, etc.....and despite having the gawdy strength and speed, I am somewhat leary of drafting Vernon, if he is still there at #22.

2.....I would rather have a speedy DE rusher, and I really like what Manny Lawson is doing, or try and get a speedy DT like Brodrick Bunkley at #22.....or perhaps a Tamba Hali at #22, or possibly Kamerion Wimbley in the 2nd/3rd rounds? You need a speedy end rusher, either from a bigger OLB, or from a fast DE. Denver currently doesn't have anyone, who fits the bill. Could they try and find 2, in one year, either thru Free Agents and a good draft?

3....At pick #29, Denver needs to get this Daryn Colledge, OT-OG. Very fast and very strong and very good. Resign Lepsis and Nalen, slide Foster over to Guard, move Carlisle to backup, and insert Colledge at ORT. Now we'll have 2 speedy OT's, who won't get burned by speedy DE's or outside blitzing LB's.

4.....2nd round pick....#60... I'd look for a stud safety, who has some speed or can lay wood, like a Greg Blue, or a Bing, or possibly Pollard or Jason Allen, or even look for another good, speedy CB, like a Demario Minter or Will Blackmon.

5.....In the third round...#93.....I'd take a stab at Greg Eslinger, Center, or perhaps a guard, like a Charles Spencer. Then with our Comp pick, might as well take a flyer with a big WR, like a Brandon Marshall or that Marques Colston. Jerious Norwood, RB, also looks good.

6....In the fourth round, at #118, there might be that Ray Edwards, DE from Purdue, who may still be there...or possibly try and get a speedy return man, who can handle both punts and kickoffs, so we don't have to put Darrent Williams out there and risk injury. C.Adams is too tall and lanky, to get decent yardage on returns, on a consistant basis. You need speed and quickness, for a return man, so posssibly someone like Jeremy Bloom, or maybe a Leon Washington, or a Skyler Green or possibly try a pick up Reggie McNeal, the speedy QB who has a gun, and just see what he can bring. Reggie may play another position, as he has some very good speed. At pick #124, if we haven't picked up a Safety yet, a Dwayne Slay would look very good, if he is available.

7....In the fifth round, at #156, and in the sixth round, our final pick at #187, where we might need to find some good backups, replacements, someone like Gradkowski or Whitehurst at QB's, or someone like a Taureen Henderson at RB-KR-PR, or a Quinton Ganther, RB, or another big WR like Drouzon Quillen, or possibly a speedy DT with issues like a Dusty Dvoracek or a DE like a Mark Anderson, or someone like a Garret Mills, FB/TE who can catch everything that is thrown to him. Not looking for any starters, but just some names that might be available, who may help.

We should also trade Putz, resign Lepsis, Nalen, Burns, Dayne, C. brown, and Warren. Let Stephen Alexander go, then draft one of the top three TE's in the draft, either it is Vernon Davis?, or Mercedes Lewis-(my choice), or Leonard Pope, who would all be an upgrade, and we still have Duke and a few others, to fall back on. Let go of Marco Coleman, Sam Brandon, L.Green, Monsanto Pope. Who is Taylor Whitley, he goes too. We still keep Chris Meyers and Cornell Green, and Carlisle, as backup OL, and make it certain, that Denver draft a stud OT starter in round one-Colledge. If Pryce doesn't restructure, trade him for a bag of rocks. Keep Ekuban. If Pryce stays, dump Ekuban, for a possible lower price, and possibly resign Engleberger, or extend his contract, but for a lower price? It is a team game, either they help the team, or they don't. If they want to sacrifice their personal monetary greed, for a good time and a possible run next year for the Super Bowl, either they have it, or they don't. It's their choice to make. If Terrel Owens want's to bring his BS, lay it on the line, on the first day of practice. Same goes for any FA we bring in. Either it improves what we already have, or don't bother taking a chance on them, and signing them. No need to waste money on a few characters like we have done in the past. Sign quality players, who have the desire and a need to be in Denver, and that is to first win their Division, then the AFC Championship, and then the Super Bowl, in 2007.

Davis probably wont be available at 22, if he is, we have to take him.

Foster at G? I dont know why people keep saying this, he wouldnt fit there at all.

That's absolutely right. Can you imagine him trying to pull or get to a linebacker? He'd fall down at least half the time and then you'd have a 6'7" 350 pounder gumming up the whole works. There is a difference between guard and tackle, people, and giants like Foster can't make that switch.

Im not in favor of drafting a TE in the 1st

Hali wont be there at 22 IMO,ive been on lawsons bandwagon for a while and bunkley sounds like someone we could use as well

If Ko simpson, hagan,or jackson fall i want us to grab them

i dont think bing will be there at 60 ,i look for brian calhoun here

5.....In the third round...#93.....I'd take a stab at Greg Eslinger, Center, or perhaps a guard, like a Charles Spencer. Then with our Comp pick, might as well take a flyer with a big WR, like a Brandon Marshall or that Marques Colston. Jerious Norwood, RB, also looks good.

Here i think it depends on what we've filled. So i say build depth at o line

I dont see us trading putz if Hemy comes in. the rest, agreed

Some thoughts
I tried to read your thoughts, but it was too hard, with all the commas, and the sentence structure, I kept getting lost, or confused, or had to go back, and, re-read what I'd just read. No offense, though, or anything like that, at all.

Go, Broncos!

I agree and disagree. In our system, George would probably struggle at guard for the reasons you cited. On teams that rely on drive blocking, he might do pretty well. Some guys, especially big guys, have decent straight line speed, but they're not particularly light on their feet. This makes them more suited inside than on an island where they'll be exposed to speed rushers.

I gently second that.
http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/commas.htm

Highlights:
Use a comma + a little conjunction (and, but, for, nor, yet, or, so) to connect two independent clauses, as in "He hit the ball well, but he ran toward third base."

Use a comma to separate coordinate adjectives. You could think of this as "That tall, distinguished, good looking fellow" rule (as opposed to "the little old lady"). If you can put an and or a but between the adjectives, a comma will probably belong there. For instance, you could say, "He is a tall and distinguished fellow" or "I live in a very old and run-down house." So you would write, "He is a tall, distinguished man" and "I live in a very old, run-down house."

Keep practicing.
