1. New PA 'political' party refuses to acknowlege Israel instead they are calling them the "zionist entity"
2. Israel's official statment on the elections is they will not acknowledge or hold talks with the terrorist lead government.
3. You can officially kiss the peace process good ****ing bye.

Like I said in a previous post today. The current events that are unfolding in the Middle east today are a very dark day in world history.

The emnity there will never go away. You can forget any "peace process" making headway when Israel is pressured by every evil dictator and terrorist in that area.

Time will tell. I'm sure there are numerous "external advisees" to this new party. My guess is how big of a hammer is it going to take to drive the point home is what is being extrapolated right now, from the US point of view anyway. I wouldn't worry to much about israel right now, they are pretty good at taking care of themselves...dman

One of the teachings in buddism is that attachment leads to suffering. I say we should just torch all of the holy land to the ground and just get it over with.

they are not...I repeat are NOT ever going to get along, no matter who is in charge, that's why I'm like ??? oh well about Hamas getting elected, it doesn't change much, something else would've disrupted the "peace"

True, however, just recently an extremely large deposit of oil was found in North america, not sure where, but the experts are saying it could be very , very , productive. That said, if anyone recalls then by all means follow up. Oh yeah, I doubt we'll ever see this oil. Some left wing enviromental group will find a way to shut it down....and your desire is to get off the "teet" of the middle east? Go talk to the left side of the country about why that can't happen. We are, without a doubt, our own worst enemy...dman

What i find 'entertaining' if you will is something like this:
They don't like the other group and are willing to sacrifice anything and everything, even their own children in order to get what they want and through any means necessary.
Then when you step back and look at it - it applied to both the jews and the muslims in that area.
Dman - the 'oil sands' in canda is what you refering to - they just have to figure a way to sap the oil from the sand.

Yeah buddy that was a huge hit , Right now they have several Rigs built outside of Odessa ,and a bunch more held up in customs from China ......... Between the Red Dessert , Anwar , and now this Canada , things are looking up for my line of work ........;D

This is true.
I was reading about the oil sands of Alberta the other day. I thought that was pretty interesting. It's the 1st I had heard of them.
