Some interesting tidbits:

Lots of you here have been especially interested in Setterstrom - he weighed in at 313 which may make him more "attractive" to other teams.

Dumerville only measured in at 5'11"

Hali came in just over 6'2" and 267 - a bit heavier (thats good) than what I thought he might.

Kiwi at 6'5", 262

Hank Baskett who had been advertised at 6'4"+ was only 6'2.5"

Hagan at 6'1" 203

Sinorice Moss at under 5'8"!!

Dumervill just dropped to the 4th/5th round unless he can grow before the combine.

I like Kiwi...and might trade up for him...but I wouldn't touch Dumerville at 5'11" in the 1st...and I'm not sold on Hali either. He has the high octane motor but I don't see the closing speed a pass rushing DE needs to be special. I'm afraid he's a decent NFL DE and that's all.

Freeney is only listed at 6 foot 1 and that isnt even an official height. What is two inches exactly. Measurements aren't everything. He will go in the second round at the latest.

Dumervil isnt anywhere near comparable to Freeney. Freeney's initial burst is amazing. If Dumervil had anything close to that, he wouldnt be getting stoned by every OT like he was today in the Senior Bowl practice. You need height at end to read whats going on across the line. You actually need height at DT and DE. Hell even 6-2 DEs have problems. Even a really strong and active DT who is very short is going to have major problems (See Brandon Kennedy).

According to nfldraftcountdown.com, Dumervil showed up to the weigh in today with a beer belly. Now you can accept a certain amount of sloth from the interior linemen, but a short, fat DE who didn't play against much top competition in college is going to be fortunate to hear his name called on day 1.

good explanations of why Dumervil is not that good instead of just the height info...thanks a bundle.
