Well! after getting up at 4:15am to be over to mecks house by 5:00am and tailgating half the day i was one tired mofo by the time i got home around 7:00pm. Ones things for sure i had one he11 of a time yesterday and all year i have meet some real cool people this year at the game and here on the mane.

After the dust settled at milehigh and our team not playing a very good game at all the deserving team won yesterday leaving no doubt, the steeler fans were all class yesterday and truely impressed me with the class they showed before and after the game. So another season is over and i feel like a long distance runner crossing the finish line in 4th place but will again be ready in my colors at the starting line next year!

Go Broncos!

c'mon, you can feel like a 3rd place finisher based on strength of conference...:yayaya:
i echo that sentiment, however. pittsburgh fans were very gracious but that damn song has to go.

Roger that, hear you BMF.

When my voodoo-like Elway bobblehead shakes at the TV could not reverse our fortunes yesterday, I began the Corona multiple beer chug last ditch effort route, to similar results.

Work is a lot of "fun" today.

I walked into work this morning, all of my coworkers giving me the sympathy face, grabbed my cup of coffee and sat down at my desk and began to reflect a bit on this past season. It was a good season...a damn good season! There were only 4 teams playing yesterday and one of them was our BRONCOS!! Most every other team's season ended ubruptly prior to ours! We Dethroned the two time super bowl champs and we did it in style. We beat the raiders once and we Kicked their arse again at home.....on a beautiful Christmas Eve day. We made memories!

If we had to lose to any team, I'm glad it was the steelers! With exception of the one so called steeler fan that cornered me in the sportsbar here in town (oh my...what a story that was) I have enjoyed the Steeler fans and their gracious attitudes.

I have been getting the, "dude, what the **** happened?!" faces this morning. I have been fortunate as to not have any assheads try and talk **** just yet. If they do, I may just have to punch them, with the way I feel this morning.

Well, we got sand kicked in our face...We simply didn't show up and need to go see Jack Lalane this offseason...

We had our fair share of fun sand kickin'...I still can't figure out why we laid an egg the size of a Brontosaurus...Foxy laid an egg the size of a 69 VW. Jake laid an egg the size of OF1...

It was a fun year till yesterday and a Mile High Salute to Gary Kubiak...Shanny was probably at his office at 5:00 AM while we lick our wound looking at draft prospects...I still feel stunned but we move on...There are plenty of issues...we are over the cap, Jake failed us, we still don't have a replacement for Rod Smith and we desperately need a speed rusher...

Lynch isn't getting any younger either...or MA...I know I'm fussing like an old maid but it's all stark reality...but we have a PLAN...right?

Did you call Meck on the Satellite phone in the Amazon and give him news or is he trying to decipher "the daily amazonian' newspaper' to see the game score. Let me be the first to say there is no way the Broncos would have lost if Meck was there .The football gods wouldn't have allowed it to happen after he dedicated the last 5 months to going back and forth across the country with that big Orange bus spreading the Bronco word. I knew the Pats were doomed when he changed his flight to see the divisional game. Congrats on a memorable season .

Glad the Steelers fans around you guys were classy. In section 506, row 23 or so, was one of the most obnoxious, a-holish opposing fans I have ever had to sit in shouting range of. From the start he was cussing, being an a-hole.

I kept waiting for Denver to do SOMETHING to shut him up, but no.

I would imagine a lot of them were good folks though, just not in my area.

Oh, and the Broncos fans who SOLD OUT (an estimated 9,000 Steelers fans were there) and chased the $$$...
You should have your tickets revoked and a boot kicked into your rear.

You know you are a big Broncos fan when your Mom calls and doesnt want to talk to you but your spouse to check up and make sure everythng is ok? As Ive aged, I dont get like that anymore MOM! Nobody died so just ask for me and make little talk until i mention it. I have more important things to reflect after a disappointing loss like kids, wife and job. I am already planning 2006 to go to more games and meet up with the best tailgatters out there, the MANERS! See ya all next season (or maybe Vegas for the superbowl. VEEEEEEGGGGASSSSS!)

Heartbroken.. the 500 i lost gave me a stomacheache, but nothings worse than the broken heart the bronx put on me.
A couple of people at work tried to rub it in, was about to clock a smartass during lunch, but overall, took it in stride and nobody said much but, "i feel for you."

A bitter monday, but i still managed to come home, get on this board and finally stick my large bronco logo sticker with pride above my home workspace.

great season. exceeded my expectations and we are primed for a run next year. f* * * you haters, KC trolls etc, that so conveniently show up after a loss when you havent even taken a whiff of the postseason.

I never bet on the broncos, especially if they are favored. I want the team to win regardless. If the broncos win the game but didnt cover the spread so u lose $300 is not a way to feel happy. Put your money away, watch the game and enjoy it. Bet on another game or sport. Dont have a little hatred for your team because they "didnt cover the spread!"

if this is a post directed towards me i think you should save it.. i bet on what i want to and never gain ill feelings towards my team if they dont cover. or lose. yeah losing the money sucks, but i would have easily taken the W and the lighter pocket if given the chance. i too want the team to win regardless.

Nappy reminded me in another Thread that I got Mercy sex from the wife after the loss. Don't you have a wife/girlfriend that you can act all depressed around & at least get laid & "take a sad song & make it better"?

It worked for me & I am married! It is hard to get sex when you are married!

It was a damn good season. And the plays were right there to be made Sunday, got-dang it, the plays were there to be made, and they didn't get made in the first Q and first half. So you attack next year with joy and abandon, and let the chips fall where they may. The chips didn't fall right Sunday, but this is a good roster, good coaching staff, good fans. I liked the season. The O didn't attack with all the weapons that they had IMO in the playoffs, but that's for next year with a new OC.

Yep, it was a damn good season and fun to watch! The Steelers were simply the better team Sunday. They brought it hard and made the plays. Does it suck that we loss? Of course. And it's dissapointing but they gave us a great year and I can see a SB next season. GO BRONCOS!!!!!!!

I believe Shanny will buy a sock at wally world draw a smiley face on it & hold a Press Conf Announcing Mr Warm Sock McSocksock, but you can call him "Lefty", to the assembled Press as the new Broncos OC!

It would be really cool if Lefty had "the Stare" & "Twitch" down too. Lefty will go on to explain how he has had dinner with Terrel Owens & how it would be nice to work him into the Offense if the price was right. Lefty will also discuss Cap concerns & about Drafting at least one RB this year to continue the Bronco RB Lineage. He will then have to excuse him self as his left eye/button will have twitched off & the Greek will have to resew it back on.

Damn, you guys at least we didn't lose to the Colts again. This season had a bit more flavor, some really great moments.........and it could have been amazing- sounds like sex vs. sex the way I daydream about it. Either way it was some great moments and an amazing season. We can slam Raiders fans, Patsy fans, Colts fans, Chiefs fans, Chargers fan, and all others. The Steelers are going to have a target on their backs next year - it will be a tough one for Big Ben. I know the Broncos, Colts, Patsies won't let up! It's going to be ugly next year.

Thats how confident I was Denver would win.
