Has anyone noticed how after a loss Peyton Manning gets a bunch of criticism from all directions, while Tom Brady skates for the most part? I don't remember reading a single criticism of Tom Brady this weekend so far, despite the fact that he cost the team the game when he threw that interception in the endzone that would have given the team the lead. The guy flat out choked there.

Meanwhile, Peyton, who equally choked, is practically being set on fire on live television after being tarred and feathered... What gives?

What came from Payatons mouth is what gives.

They are not bashing Mannings play as much (a little).

Peyton bashed his OL for giving up protection. Thats like a code of honor. Dont bash your teammates, just take the blame and move on.

Brady didnt bash anyone, he just made comments that the team didnt play their best.

Well, in fairness, I think that is because of two things:

1) Brady has won three Super Bowls, and has a history of coming up big in big games. Peyton has a history of just the opposite. Brady gets a bit of a pass because of his history.

2) Brady acted a little more gracious in his defeat. Peyton made that stupid comment about "trying to be a good teammate." That just doesn't play well, and it puts a big ol' target on your forehead - and we all know that Peyton has plenty of room on his forehead for a target.

True. Brady did what all the experts said Jake would do. Brady turned into Jake the Mistake, throwing the back-breaking INT. And after the game he found it very difficult to give any credit to Denver. Brady's a much tougher QB than Manning, but there is no getting around the huge mistake he made. Reverse the roles and Jake would be getting skewered.

What gives is Tom Brady didn't call out his O-Line, and what gives is that Peyton's stigma of not being able to win the big game is further perpetuated.

Tom Brady, and the whole Pats organization, has earned a tremendous benefit of the doubt with their 3 titles.

This year, everybody penciled in Peyton and Co. for Detroit, and they choked.

3 rings is what gives. Same deal with Montana. He was a winner so the other playoff years where he played poorly (Think Jim Burt) were passed over.

I really don't think Peyton threw his team under the bus...he said they had protection problems...they did...he told the truth. He knows he didn't play well. And he said as much.

C'mon, it's simple...Brady is allowed mistakes. After you win 3 Super Bowls and your only 28 how in the hell can you criticize that?

Manning is a choke artist, can't win in the post season.

Common sense. Common. Freaking. Sense.

Let me explain.

Brady is a good person and a great leader. Teammates are willing to lose with Brady because he doesn't pass the blame off to them. You follow me sor far?

Now Manning is a different breed entirely. When the Colts lose, Manning must let everyone know that it was "the protection" that caused him to lose.

"But the protection did mess Manning up" some of you might say. But guess what. IT DOESN'T MATTER.

A "good teammate" (as Manning said in the press conference after the game) never throws his teammates under the bus, EVEN IF THEY ARE THE REAL REASON FOR THE LOSS. He's got more dignity than to do something like that.

Manning, on the other hand, DOESN'T. He will throw teammates under the bus (i.e. "our idiot kicker" - even though he WAS an idiot, you never SAY that to the media).

Brady is a person the media likes because he's NOT AN ASSHOLE.

It's pretty simple.

Yeah. Brady got hit a lot too. Most of his bad passes were caused because of the the preassure. Two QB's that had bad games and made mistakes because if preassure and two different reactions.
