Broncos: 14-3, won the toughest division in football, against one of the toughest schedules in the NFL, dethroned the "champs" convincingly, playing at home for the AFC Championship (they are 5-0 all time at home in the AFC Championship). Add to that a 2-time SB champion coach, whose record is 8-4 in the playoffs, against one of the more suspect playoff coaches currently in the NFL(Cowher).

It's hard to believe that they are still not convinced. I guess our boys will have to go out there in prove it again and then again(hopefully).

If experts knew who would win, Indy and Chicago would be in the Super Bowl.

Rather than getting only 30% of the "experts" picks we will probably get closer to 50% of the picks.

So they are coming around. underdog role is what we have played all year. We need to continue to play it well.

I agree, who gives a flying **** what they think of the Broncos. I'm glad they aren't giving them any kudos, pats on the back or anything like that. They seem to feed off it...™

Who is the more Disrespected team going into Sunday?? Denver or Pitt??

Let the debates rage on.

The most disrespected team leaguewide going into Conference championship weekend is without a doubt, the Seattle Seahawks...™

I rather thought Carolina came in for some disrespect by several "expert type" people, but being 11-1 by the Vegas boys is a bit of a stretch, IMHO. Nonetheless, the bottom line, amnd mean this is all honesty and sincerity, who gives a F what those boys say? I think it will be up to the players to define their own games, whoever you are rooting for.

Respect isn't coming. If Denver wins this week it's because they shouldn't have last week. Or they chop, or the cap, or........ 'You've got to earn it.'
If it hasn't happened by now it ain't coming. That's all. Luckiest-shouldn't-have-been-allowed-to-back-in-Super Bowl-champs. Holmgren is sexier, Steve Smith is sexier, Palomalu is sexier. Get on with it.

It doesn't stop there. Cris Carter on Yahoo picks Steelers. Adam Schein on Sirius NFL Radio and Fox Sports Totally Football picks Steelers. Right now, Cowher's picture and articles on the Steelers on the main story on the NFL pages of Yahoo, CBS Sportsline and Fox Sports. So do we consider respect getting the same idiots who picked San Diego to win all year to pick us OR do we consider respect to be the Vegas line? Vegas seems to be smarter. Let'em chatter in the media all they want.

The media can only remember about one week back. Remember when the Chargers beat the Colts, they had "an amazing D" and were "probably the best team in the NFL". I'd say we did ok against their "unstoppable" 3-4 and their "amazing" blitz packages.

When the media does go back further than one week, they reference historical playoff records (ie 10-0 Pats last week), but this week you don't hear too much about Cowher's 1-5 AFCC record? Must not conveniently fit their storyline.

The experts???? We all know who the real experts are, the bookies and odds makers in the world of professional betting. The talking heads???, they aren't in it to make money, the bookies are. This game will eventually (just my thoughts) end up as pickem in alot of circles , not all but some. I'll take the broncos, and it wouldn't surprise me if it's a blowout....dman

Well they are running out of teams to pick against us! Ha!

I think this "making jake 'manage the game'" rhetoric has truly motivated him to a new level. It's well documented he seeths with anger with the assertion he can't freewheel and is under some sort of leash. He's not as reckless, but can't we give him just a teeny bit of the credit instead of treating him like a dog that has been taken to training school? Jake is the ultimate free bird from Lynerd Skinyrd sic...so he's going to rebel...He's on a mission from God this year...He looks like Jesus for christ sake! Ha!

There's no such thing as an NFL "expert" wielding a pen or a mic. These guys don't know any more than the average poster on the Mane. They are media creations meant to drum up interest...and hence advertising. This morning I heard the Mike 'n Mike goofballs picking positions for the advantage in the AFC game...one took the Steelers and one the Broncs in every category. It's all hyped to catch the imagination of the fan.

Frankly I don't give a crap.

Not to nitpick but the Broncos are 5-1 in the AFC Championship game.
