It was apparent that it was bothering him yesterday, was it a combonation of a large lead and the injury forced the Steelers to run on something like 80% of there plays? Is it a deep contusion? I have not heard or read much more on it.

nor will we hear anything.
IT is specualted tho that the thumb is still bothering him, but he has proven to still make all the thorws with it, so im not banking on it to help us.

The play calling might also have a lot to do with Cowhers being a disciple of MartyBall

Ben didn't throw but one pass after the injury occurred. I think they were protecting it. Keep an eye on that.

he has to be hurt bad. Doubt they say anything. I am worried more about Parker's speed but he does not have LJ's power so we should be able to handle him.

I worry about Bettis 3rd down conversions and goal line stands. And the biggest worry to me is Palumalu.

The team that establishes the run will win! Both defenses are very similar statistically speaking. Both have similar running games. I like our secondary over Troy any day. Heath Miller and Stephen Alexander will be huge in the match up. I can't wait to see this one!

Biggest worry to me is the Steeler pass rush. The good news is that we have the perfect line scheme to combat it--zone blocking. The bad news is that their LB's are so fast that it may not matter if our guards can't get outside quick enough.
