I think we can all agree that Pats-week here on the OM got a little childish.

Alot of us just wanted to analyze the game, and all they wanted to do was give us a list of their achievements, followed by the popular announcement that the game was already won. It brough out the worst in a lot of us. But we won, so thank god they are gone!!!

I have a feeling Steelers fans will be much different. They have a team alot like ours, so i can only assume the fans will be a lot like ours. Sure, they will have their bandwagon fans that jumped on board when #7 became QB, but i think for the most part they'll be genuine fans.

It's a short week with MLK day today, so hopefully it goes fast!! But i look forward to all the info about the Steelers this week, as it's not a team that i know a whole lot about, except what you would see/hear on a TV Broadcast. You know, the type of stuff that gets said OVER AND OVER AND OVER. Like for us: Shanahan scripts his first 15 plays or that Shanahan prefers smaller, more agile O-Lineman for his zone blocking scheme, which was put in place by Alex Gibbs, current line coach for Atlanta, and then a graph to show what both Denver and Atlanta are doing in the running game(which in Atlanta's case is biased because of Vick.. but anyway... :pimp: ).

Anyway, congrats on beating the colts, and welcome to the Orange Mane.

GO BRONCOS!!

Steeler fans are usually pretty football savvy but we'll see what shows up here.

ya never know over the internet who will show up. :afro:

Game is going to be exciting for sure.

Steelers will try to set up the run with the pass just as we do. Getting to Ben and rattling him early will be key. I worry that Miller might be allowed to run free like we let Witten do because of the gameplan. But if we look at him and try to take him out(which we should) then DJ and Sam Brandon can handle him easily. WE are one team that can control the other teams TE's.

Unless they enjoy pushing buttons like Waffle Boy, the discussion SHOULD be OK. I'm sure they are a little giddy being in the championship game after starting out as the #6 seed and not even knowing if they would make the playoffs until the last week of the season.

reading that forum they are all pretty corky from beating the colts. Maybe after the steam wears off they will look at the game at a perspective, who knows...

there is a Steelers fan club here in the Springs, they meet every Sunday at the Overtime sports bar on Dublin and Union, they tailgate in the parking lot before the game and have an entire section of the bar closed off all week just for them on Sundays (I know cause there is a OSU gathering there on Sat. they won't even let us sit there on Sat.) If I am not going to be able to make it up for the game I might go there and give em hell the best I can.

I'm sure we'll be in some sort of fracas Sunday afternoon at the bar where we watch games. The Ravens fans have dusted off their old Steelers garb since they're done. LOL

The closest thing I have to a Steeler's fan is a 60 year old guy from Pittsburgh who works in the next office and doesn't own a TV. Who am I supposed to raz now? ???

They Do Sound Like They Know What They Are Talking About Except They Are Making The Same Mistake The Pats Did In Thinking Jake Will Make Mistakes.they Are Giving Us Credit And Well Deserved Fear.only A Few Of Them Are Talking Chit About Us.they See Just Like We Do That We Are Alot Alike.i Wont Diss Them For Saying They Think They Will Win Because What Fool Is Going To Say We Are Going To Get Beat.
