Go back to week 16 (game 15). Cincy gets shocked by Buffalo. San Diego loses at Arrowhead and Denver whoops Oakland all in succession.
Hello all! Totally new at this so I don't know if my Avatar is in order or not. Bear with me.
Been crazy busy as of late and football can be a pleasant distraction. I hope my short term memory serves me on week 16.
Didn't the Broncos clinch the division AND #2 seed that week? Bermen didn't mention it ....not even Jackson. They showed about 15 seconds of the Den/Oak game and dwelled for several minutes on the Chiefs game. Fine!
The game in SandyEggo was fairly meaningless to the Broncos but they dominated. Lynch was a beast. The big news being the injury to Breese. Unfortunate.
OK they went 13-3 in a great season. Jake is now a Game Manager. The "Browncos" occupy the whole O- line of the opposers, freeing up Linebackers and Safeties to harrass the backfield at will. Not big on sacks but alot of ruched throws, turnovers and QBs planted on thier butts. This is good.
We have enjoyed the turnaround of our team, however, they stay under the radar. That can be good, tho.
The playoffs get under way and the Broncos are an afterthought. That's fine with a first week bye.
Uggh...divisional playoff. We draw the Pats. Scary...was hoping for Cincy.
Regis picked the Pats..so fkn what!! Marino goes with the Pats....duh...in his limited thinking, it's ALL about the QB!! Inside the NFL they were split. Shannon and TD were loyal....OORRAAHH!!
Watching the postgame interviews on NFL Network was the final kick in the nads. Champs interview was cool as he exited the podium for a barefoot Plummer...TOO COOL!! Plummer asked for a pause until all media was present as to not have to answer same questions twice. Game Manager turned Interview Manager.
Halfway thru, the screen splits to the Losers lockerroom where a dapper Brady in Blazer complete with handkerchief in pocket, hair coiffed , is taking the podium. Cut off the winner to talk with the losing QB. Just NOT right to me.
Flying under radar works! Keep it up Broncos.
3/2 favorites to win it all!!!!
