I remember him on the sidelines after the punt early in the game. He was not a happy camper and i kept saying to myself " why is he so pissed? does he not know that an offsides penalty is only 5 yards when you need 6 for a first down? " He just couldnt seem to grasp that he couldnt get a first down in that situation. I have never seen the Pats cry as much that early in a game as they did last night. Brady, Vrabel, Billmeacheck all showed no class last night.

The way the Pat's acted after the loss, especially Billichek and Brady, making excuses and being overall poor sports, knocked the Pat's a few notches down on my respectability meter. I don't think I've ever heard the Broncos make excuses after a loss they were expected to win. Hell, even after the Jagoffs playoff win in 1997 the Broncos gave them their due respect and said the better team won that day!

He kept walking out on the field. Meanwhile the crowd just kept telling him to go home!! :approve:

I think he said b***t twice and then when the Refree moved away he said a word to that would get any coach ejected from a game.

I guess it's easier to appear classy when you're winning. The Pats team was exposed as McGinest and Izzo had a shoving match on the sidelines, BB slammed his clipboard into the ground, Brady bitched to the refs after each play he was pressured, Brady and BB were classless in their post game interviews, and the NE media sounded like the fans we're hearing today at how the game was handed to the Broncos by the refs and the Pats. Weren't we #2 in turnovers before last night?

I saw that too.

I used to think that the Pats had class, but this game definitley showed me otherwise.

Its easy to show class when your winning, but bowing out gracefully is another story.

Actually he was asking that the offsides be put on the end of the return. It works that way on kickoffs why can't it work on punts...well its simple...Pre and post kick rules.

Well, I'd cut them a little slack. It's war out there in the playoffs, and the Patriots play to win.

Belichick cusses like a sailor. It's hard to believe because during interviews he seems like such a straight nerd, but he's not like with his players or the refs.

Who knows what was going between McGinest and Izzo, but it had to do with the previous series on the field. The Broncos back got around Izzo. I suspect they were debating who had outside responsibilities. It had nothing to with class. McGinest was one of the first guys to credit Denver in post game comments. I wouldn't want to mess with him when he's mad.

Brady was very gracious after the game. That stuff in the 1st qtr with your safety was piddly stuff. Lynch is no angel either.

It depends. If we get outright beat, we'll generally give props and say "we got beat". We've had ref-blaming threads and whining too, though. I can tell you if we got beat like this in a playoff game (and we have, much worse) we usually just blame ourselves and talk aobut what we need to move to the next level.

Gracious? After the game all he said was the he gave the game away. That they didn't play there A game. How about we made to play bad. How about we took the game away from you and made the most of our chances. How about they're a great team. Period. That would have been gracious.
