Why do we root for the Broncos? Why do we love Al Wilson, the Browncos, the rook DB's, Rod Smith, Mike Anderson, the bronco offensive line and Jake Plummer? Because they are the guys that get no respect. They are the guys that show up and get it done in the face of all of the national doubters. They are the guys that say and do all of the right things. They whisper flattery into the Patriots ear right before they walk onto their own field in front of their own fans and beat the heart out of them.

The stage is set today. It Denver v. the US Media Darlings. The glory boys. The most fawned over bunch of Jocks since Michael Jordan's Bulls. The Pats are coming to Denver. It's time to rise up and take the glory.
