Good Read.

I was waiting for this one to come out, so i could see what Simmons was gonna do.

Around Midseason into the late season he adopted the Broncos as his team to beat the Colts (out of an obvious Colts hatred) and ended up not only building up Denver as a team, but admitting that the Patriots were just not the team to advance deep into the playoffs this year.

Lately he got back on the "Patriots SB Contender" bandwagon due to their run at the end of the year.

He picks the Patsies in a close one.

I can tell he's aware of his earlier comments, as he toes the line on this one.

A lot of mention of the Brady led Patsies being 10-0 in the playoffs ... along with the "never bet against Brady/Belichick" rule.

No mention of the venue or the bye week. He's got the blinders on a little bit and still only picks the Patsies to win by 1 pt.

Big surprise.

Good read nonetheless, but Simmons is a huge Patty homer.

This was pretty funny:

SG: I loved that the Jets pretended to be outraged by the whole thing -- they were like college roommates who decide to throw out their junior year sofa because it smelled like holy hell, and then the guy across the hall stops by during final exams and asks, "You guys keepin' that sofa?" And suddenly they're selling him the sofa for two cases of Miller Lite, three bags of pretzels and three packs of Marlboro Lights. That was Herm Edwards. I'm sure the Chiefs fans couldn't be happier.
