A first for Invesco

With the first playoff game being hosted at Invesco, I was wondering if there was anyone else here on the board who was at the first playoff game at Mile High. I had the honor of seeing us defeat Pittsburgh that day and was also at the game the following week when we beat the Raiders to go to our first Superbowl. That is the only time I can remember the uprights coming down in Mile High.( After the Raider game..if I remember right it was the ones at the nort end ) Mile High absolutely rocked for those two games...I can only hope those of you lucky enough to be there this weekend will do us proud! Make that place rock and shake like the Mile High of old. It's hard to believe that was in preparation for Super Bowl XII. I can't really be that old!

Wasn't there but I was at the last playoff game at Milehigh, and Elway's last homegame against the JETS. Unreal game, stadium was rocking. I am flying into DIA tomorrow night after work to make it back for the 1st at INVESCO. I am absolutely stoked, and know the city of Denver is going to do its part to prove all the nay-sayers wrong. Denver deserves to show the rest of the country what a REAL stadium full of crazed diehard fans really brings to a Home playoff game. I can see Brady putting his hands up to his ear holes struggling to listen to the play calling. ALL damn day we will be there, cheering, yelling , stomping, doing our part to get that first playoff w at the new Milehigh. :yayaya: LETS GO BABY!!!!
