I'm thinking about buying one. Does anyone have experience with them? Any recommendations on brand? Size? Is there anything with which a mouse does better?

If you're talking about a tablet PC, don't bother. They are, without exception, junk. In fact, the government should collect every tablet pc, burn them in a bonfire, and then bury the ashes.
Just my opinion, of course. :sunshine:

No, it's not a tablet PC. It's just a device that you can use to replace your mouse - like this one:

Unless you're a graphic artist or a CAD operator or something, I don't see the point. You'll have to use a greater range of motion with your hand/wrist than with a normal mouse, and I'd be willing to bet it's less precise in most situations. And forget about playing games.
Anyway, if you do decide to go with it, I'd be interested to hear how it works out.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh....a Wacom tablet.
Yes! If you are a Photoshopper or any kind of artist, these are head and shoulders above what you can do with a mouse!!
