Must be an ostrich reaction...but please tell me why Brady and the Patriots offense won't be able to match (and then some) whatever strikes the Donks manage off the "subpar" secondary?
So, Donks fans, how are you going to stop the coolest gun in the East?
(this oughta be rich).

Wow, the way you talk it almost seems like the Pats won back in October. Funny thing is that those guys all played back in October, and the Pats still came up on the short end. They couldn't even begin to move the ball consistently until Denver was up 28-3 and took their foot off the gas. Try bringing something better next time.

Stopped? i gave you the answer twice already. We did it already in October. the BRONCOS are a better team overall then the PATRIOTS. 4 times Brady has played the Broncos, he is 1-3. Average margin of victory is 10 points in those games. The ONE game he won, in denver, he did against a Broncos offense led by danny kanell, who was signed the previous week, and you still needed 4th qtr heroics to pull it off. To simplify, our defense does not have to stop tom brady. our defense has to stop the patriot offense.

I knew from his first post that he was full of Shít He's been told all week, and will continue to be told by the media, why they are going to win. They are totally convinced. Most media sources don't even mention the Broncos players. You'll here "Jake Plummer rolls out" which is true 7% of the time, that "he can't throw from the pocket" which is true 0.2% of the time, and whenever they bring up his good play this season, the comment ends in a "but". Let them believe they will kill us, and let them get as pissed as this troll that we don't think so.

Must be an ostrich reaction...but please tell me why Brady and the Patriots offense won't be able to match (and then some) whatever strikes the Donks manage off the "subpar" secondary?
So, Donks fans, how are you going to stop the coolest gun in the East?
(this oughta be rich).
First, Denver is going to mix in zone blitzing to start the game. If the Patriots go 5 wide, it's the best thing that could happen for the Broncos. Going 5 wide creates easy matchups for Denver and leaves Brady very vulnerable to a blitz from Lynch or Foxworth. The patriots will not be able to run the ball...period. Only one team has on denver all season, and that was the chiefs in Camarohead. I don't care how much or what you smoke, but the patriots don't even sniff the dirty ball sweat of the chiefs running game.
So now you have been turned into a one dimensional team that will probably move the ball in between the twenties. Problem is, you'll need tds to hang with the broncos.
I'm sure you could pull up stats that say denver has a horrible pass defense, but if you actually watched the games, you'd see that Denver was ahead and coasted while many teams had to throw the ball to catch up. Denver shut down the patriots in the first half in week 6. This week, we won't take our foot off your throat in the second half as to not show up your team like the last time.

Ok then. Come on.
2nd and 7.
Patriots come in with Watson at tight end, Givens and Branch wide. Davis in the slot and Dillon in the backfield.
What's your package and how do you think it should be played?
Champ covers who? Branch? Fine.
Foxworthy on Givens ( I like this matchup).
Does Darrent Willaims take the slot guy? Is he going to be 100 percent?
Who covers Watson? The vaunted Al Wilson? I like that too?
Or will the team play a zone in this situation? I think this would be a mistake, since the Patriots are one of the best teams in the league at finding the seams in a zone.
And then what about Dillon?
So tell me your package (without stroking your own package)
And maybe we can start something.

delayed zone blitz. Stack 9 guys in the box, drop out into a zone, send lynch on a delayed blitz between the tackle and guard, It's either a sack, or an incomplete pass. Either way, Brady is going to get hit, and hard....oh and before you bother asking how I'm predicting either a sack or incomplete pass, it's quite simple. There's no way you're getting 3 yards on first down. So this situation is a moot point. Now go sit down, shut up, and stop causing problems. You're giving me a fvcking headache.

I don't agree that the Patriots won't be able to run ENOUGH (not a lot, but enough) to keep the defense honest.
That means his assertion the Pats will be in a 5 receiver set for most the game is not particularly realistic, at least in my opinion.
Not to mention I didn't see his post until after I had posted mine.
But go ahead. Deflect if you want. Guys asked for specifics and I gave some.

Champ Bailey's name is going to be called so few times this game that people will forget he's a Bronco. The Patriots coaching staff isn't STUPID you know.
So in other words you are conceding that half the field will be unavailable
to your team. Because that is the only time a corner isn't heard about,
when no one is throwing his way.

More like 2nd and 9, either that or you get a nice chunk off of hook route for 6 or so. Honestly, you're going to see alot of zone this game. But I'm not lying when I tell you that the patriots will not be able to run the ball on Denver. It's just not going to happen. Sure you'll have an occasional 2nd and 7, but do you really think a pass for 3 yards is a victory in any sense of the word?
Edit: Let me add in that I fully expect the Patriots to move the ball inside the twenties. Brady is an excellant qb, and his receivers get open. But it's inside the twenty that you'll need a running game, and frankly, the patriots just don't have one.

Why do you automatically assume that the way to beat denver is to spread out the defense. You did that a lot in the first games three quarters and were largely unsuccesful. Brady found himself a lot on his back and overthrew the ball a lot.
The basic blueprint to beat denver was found already in week one vs the dolphins. You guys used it to make a great run in the last three mins of the third quarter(and fourth) with a few screen passes, and you did NOT spread us out.
Show your knowledge now. What am I talking about?

Really if you are going to attempt have discussion about football on this board we expect you to have basic idea about the reality of the game. IF want to act like 9 year please go visit the ESPN boards.
In addition Foxworth might not be ESPN name but if he able to successfully covers folks like Porter, TO, Jimmy Smith and others why can not cover Givens?

Yeah, Pass did almost all his damage after Denver got up by 25 and backed off on both offense and defense. Continue to believe that yards racked up when Denver was playing soft are relevant.
