Tony Gonzalez, of the hated Chiefs, on the Budweiser Hotseat picked Denver to win this week against the PATSies, and then when asked who is going to win the Super Bowl. He said the Col" No No wait, I'll take the Broncos, they are tough! well that's coming from a guy that has played both teams.

Go TG, he's a smart man.

Just picked the Broncos to win the Super Bowl. That means more than a thousand Steaks and Dr. Z's - at least he plays the game.

I saw it on the Budweiser Hot Seat ESPN segment.

Yep. Too bad he plays for the enemy. He should come to his senses and play for us like Neil Smith did. (finally realizing he won't get a ring with the Chefs)

We know how to guide talented palyers, more deserving of football success, to the promised land.

Tony G, the bandwagon seat is kept warm. Call up Ted and Mike and get it done.

Sorry, didn't see this thread.

I just posted the same thing on another thread, but take no heed.

The Chiefy fan base, who knows worlds more than Tony Gonzales, have already told Bronco fans that we are sheep being led to slaughter...and clearly, they would know better.

Yeah, we're all just so shocked that SOMEBODY actually picked Denver. He's the first "expert" I've heard all week pick Denver.

I was listening to WFAN in New York today at work and they had Ted Johnson on. He was saying great thing about them and picked them to beat his team. Which I thought was odd.

From the AP newswire:

"Tony Gonzalez was found dead at his estate early Thursday morning. It appears that he was "super tackled" and that some sort of sexual torture was involved instantaneously. It appears that his body was instantly in a state of rigor mortus at the time of death. Although Tedy Bruschi is the prime suspect in the Kansas City police investigation, it will be impossible to prosecute him due to the fact that Tedy Bruschi is not human. There are currently no laws for gods in the state of Missouri.""

Picking the NFL games for the weekend, picks the Broncos to beat the Patriots.

When asked who wins the Superbowl- "...Colts..............no, change that, change that, the Broncos. They are one tough team."

What?
Not worth a thread?

Seriously, it was like an earthquake leveled San Francisco, or something.

What's the big deal?

I haven't seen this kind of desperation for any shred of positive press since the week before SB XXXII.

Edit: And if you think it's bad this week, wait until we play the Colts next week.

Add another player to the list that think Denver will win, Trent Dilfer said this morning on Colin Cowerd's show that he is a "believer in Denver." Funny how it sounds like the guys who play and have played the game seem to be giving Denver alot more credit than the so called analysts.

We've got to get rid of that "first one" mentality. I thought getting rid of the rep points would help that...but it's hard. This week is different in the fact that it's the playoffs....so I'm not as quick to merge...but the volume is up.
