And the broncos need to make sure their cup is in the right place especially if you go up against cheapshot mankings.

Speaking of cheap shots, my favorite unheralded matchup this week will be Nalen vs. The Stroke. Nalen typically dominates linebackers, so this should be a good one.

Wilfork or Seymour depending on how they go.
Still, I fully expect Coop and Hamilton to fire out of their blocks and lower the hammer on Monty and Vrabel in the running game. It's up to Bell and Anderson to do the rest.

Wilfork is their NT and Seymour is a DE who will be going up against Lepsis or Foster most of the game as I understand it. But the key will be how Nails and the guards handle their inside three (Monty, Vrabel (or Bruschi if he plays) and Wilfork).

Actaully Seymour plays both Tackle and End. One of the things that makes him so great is his ability to play anywhere on the line. Mostly he's been play at end now.

Except in a 3-4 there's no "end." Perhaps they guy's referring to when NE goes to a traditional 4-3. But I don't think they do that much, and when they do they're really just putting Mcginist in a down position, and maybe taking shorter splits along the line.

Can Denver run the ball? Yes, they have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL, and have had for probably the past 15 years, maybe longer. Elway should give his HOF shrine to them. But with Richard in there and Wilfork, I like the Patriots chances of slowing down the run game. And if the Patriots can get up on Denver, then the pass rush will make Plummer feel that he needs to win the game, and he will give the ball to us, just like he has always done in the past.

sigh....
Seymour played against:
Maimi, NO, KC, NYJ, Buf, TB, NYJ, Mia, Jags.
Jets had the third worst rushing attack this year, with Buffalo fourth worst, and NO sixth worst. Not exactly steller competition no matter how big of a "star" their top RB is.
***
Oops...realized I was looking at their rankings as far as fantasy football which may be more accurate since it accounts for receiving yards and TD's, but according to YPG here are the rankings.
Jets had the 31st rushing attack, Buffalo 20th rushing attack, and NO 18th rushing attack.

Maybe you can begin to understand why us Bronco fans are having so much fun this year? All we hear is what happened in Indy the last two years. Then they start chattering away as if there have been absolutely no changes whatsoever in this team. Same old secondary. Same old defense. Same old Jake. Actually, it's kind of fun to listen to the BS.

I'm still pissed off about being upset by Denver in the snow in Fenway the year of the first Superbowl, which caused us to lose out on the chance to lose to the Packers. I was just back from a tour of Vietnam, over 40 years ago. Same teams, same towns, same stupid wars.
