with the internal reshuffling if kubes gets picked up as a HC if the o-line job is up i'd give nalen the job. he know that system so well. what do y'all think
I'd have to think Nalen would be one of the few options we could go with, should Dennison move on or up to an OC position, since our blocking scheme is basically only taught at the pro level here and in ATL, and they only have the same scheme because they hired Alex Gibbs, who won't be coming back.
I'd be iffy on making Nalen the OL coach right off the bat, though I think he could probably handle it. If Kubiak moves on and Dennison becomes our OC then sure, make him the OL coach if the opportunity interest him, since then Dennison can help him along. If Dennison leaves though and Turner or someone else becomes our OC, then we might be better off to get someone to mentor Nalen on his transition from player to coach.
Of course, that all depends on if Nalen really has any interest in coaching. I think he'd be a great one if he did though.
