Bin Laden and Zawahri have eluded capture since U.S.-led forces toppled Afghanistan's Taliban government in 2001 after the September 11 attacks on the United States by al Qaeda.
Now that stung ...... I wish we had these 2 ássholes in a hurt locker

Of course... this idiot doesn't understand pure American Stubborness (tm). Its a big part of the reasons the Dems aren't going to gain a whole lot of ground in '06. I just don't see Americans voting for lossy end in Iraq.

Pretty much my pessimsim all around. I think that when we finally leave Iraq, and it will be when the shiaa tell us to, the shiaa mullahs and the sunni nutters will say .... we defeated the imperialist/zionists.

I just firmly believe that you can't win a gorillia war if you don't break the people's spirit to stop.

Hell this country won it's independance with that type of war... come to think of it.... lots of countries have won that way as well.

we did get a victory ........Taliban = about as much of a threat as the 2005 Raiders going to the super bowl .......
Saddam in court = Made Dick Vermiel look stable ........
Iraqi Army = Chiefs Defense held better ........
Now Nation building on the other hand is a different matter , but no one can deny our military victory ......

Yep.

BushCo's "strategery" will probably be a partial troop withdrawl followed by a declaration of 'victory' just in time for the midterm elections.

LOL

The Taliban has regrouped and still controls parts of the country.

The rest of the country (with the exception of Kabul) is now controlled by rival warlords and heroin cartels.

But who gives a sh_t as long as Smirk and Dick and their donors get that pipeline built, eh?

Freedom is on the march!

I supported going into Afghanistan when the stated objective was to capture or kill Bin Laden (the guy who was allegedly responsible for masterminding and ordering the 9/11 attacks.)

When it became clear that Team Chimp was just using this as a cover story, and that the junta had other motives, I had to say "fool me once, shame on you...., etc."

...not that anyone would know it reading you and your buddy LABF's **** the past few years. What with the politicians (Kennedy, Kerry, Turben, Pelosi, & Reid) you clowns support referring to our troops as terrorists, rapists, torturers, and murderers.....I find it amazing they had any time left to kick ass in Iraq.

:bs:

Your feeble spin is that anyone who doesn't think Americans should do the kind of things that have been done at Abu Ghraib and elsewhere (including the well-documented torture, rape, and murder of children and innocent civilians) is "referring to our troops (in general) as terrorists, rapists, torturers, and murderers."

You are one intellectually dishonest mofo.

Yep.

And that particular comment sums up the mindset of people like errant perfectly.

They don't care how incompetent and corrupt Bush is - just so long as Bush is, to use a football metaphor, wearing the 'right jersey.'

Dude, I have a letter in my posession from a family friend who is a marine in Falluga. Very unfortunately, it is hard not to see many of our service men as "terrorists, rapists, torturers, and murderers". Because allot of that is going on. A family friend is unashmedly engaging in these activitys. Facts is facts. War brings out the ugly in EVERYBODY!

And errant's spin is that anyone who doesn't think Americans should engage in these kinds of behaviors is simply trying to broad brush all the troops as "terrorists, rapists, torturers, and murderers."

Apparently, there's no limit to the extent to which errant will lie and misrepresent the facts in his efforts to 'win' a debate with BushCo critics.

Why the "allegedly"?

Whom else do you have in mind?
