Excuse me if I'm really high right now, but my dad (I'm a minor) just scored me two tickets for this Saturday's game against San Diego. I live in LA so I'll get up early in the morning and take a long Saturday morning drive down to San Diego to see the Broncs pwn the Bolts.
Since this is my first ever live NFL game, I would like to know a few things from you veteran game watchers out there.
1) It's a home game here at San Diego, so how should I conduct myself in this Charger's atmosphere? Should I go all out and wear my Denver jersey? What if something happens? ??? ??? ??? :kiddingme
2) Will the Broncos rest all their starters? Jesus Quintana I shelled out 160 + for two tickets which are pretty bad seats: Loge 25, Row 13

Don't want to see all the backups play.
3) And where will I find Orange Force One?
Thanks for the help guys.

1. You should absolutely wear your jersey.
2. No one knows yet. Probably won't know until kickoff.
3. OF1 isn't making the trip this time.

I haven't ever been to a game in SD, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night. Wear your Broncos jersey proudly and don't take any sh!t from anyone for it!

You should ABSOLUTELY represent with the Broncos colors. Check out the San Diego thread in the tailgate forum. There will still be some Mane members at the game even though there won't be an OF1. Have fun at the game, minibronco.:Broncos:

It's in San Diego so you'll be amongst many Broncos fans.

Wear whatever you want...you'll be fine. Of course you'll take ribbing if the Donks are down, but that's just natural. Just don't act like a jackass, and everything will go smoothly. There's certainly nothing to worry about on that score.

One more thing. And this goes for anyone going to the game who's not familiar with the area. It's not a bad idea to take the trolley. I prefer it to trying to drive in and out of the 'Murph. Others might disagree, so take it for what it's worth.
Consider parking in the Old Town Transit center and riding the trolley from there. The idea being to avoid the traffic on Friars Road. It's the only way in or out of the Stadium. When you're done with the game you'll be in walking distance of some fine establishments...to grub, or drink your fill.

I considered walking but trolley sounds great. I sure hope I get to see everyone play including BVP!

Don't worry, most of them will be as stoned as you will be. They are harmless unlike the knife wielders in Oakland. I won't set foot in Mt. Davis...ever.
Like others, I think you can wear colors in SD...I wouldn't recommend it in Oakland tho...that's insane...make sure you lock your car and you should have a good time. This is a game it looked like a must win, but we will be resting alot of players with minor dings. So don't be surprised we drop this one...we might have a major BVP sighting as well.
They might want to try to get Tater Tot 1000 Sunday...I think that's the major goal...altho SD has an excellent run D, we can cut them up...
Anyone hurt even lightly should be held out IMO...Shanny said he's not laying off, which I think is good, but for injured players, this gives them a full three weeks. Watch your back, remember your in hostile turf and you should be fine. As mentioned, there are Bronco Fans in SD...
That said about Tater, I think it would be a good time to get Dayne a little love while Anderson is out...I'm more interested in keeping Dayne motivated than Tater Tot. He's done fine...900 yards from the backup? Name another backup in the league that can boast that. We should work Dayne and Cecil....depends on what Shanny wants to do...I would rather work those two a little and rest our backs honstly...if they want Tater to get his 131, they will get it for him.

i'll be looking for bvp too... actually, I guess the StubHub was a season ticket holder, so I got some reserved parking for free.

Wear your colors proudly. I mean what are they really going to say? Our team beat your team because its the last game of the season for us but you guys are resting players for the playoffs? There's not much smack talk that can be thrown your way at this point in the season from a non-playoff team.

This is the best advice you'll receive on this thread. Catching the trolley in and out of the stadium will save you time, money and gridlock. Just park at the hotel across from the stadium and catch the trolley right there.

You'll still save time if you take the trolley, because you won't have to fight traffic getting out of the stadium.

I have another question:
I know they don't allow any drinks except for water (For more reasons than safety I suspect), but do they allow professional still cameras? Like the long Canon white lens ones you see on TV on the sidelines? I checked the Qualcomm website but all it said was as long as it doesn't block the view of others. I don't think it will, but I thought there was like a bag size limit.
Anybody know anything about this? Thanks guys.

Every Packer game I've been to I wear one of my Bronco Jerseys. I've been to three games and only one was against the Broncos. Every Packer practice I go to I wear one of my Bronco Jerseys (I haven't been to one in years though). The Packers have a scrimmage game in Lambeau Field before the 1st preseason game, usually it's Packers vs Packers (but this year they scrimmaged the Bills) Anyways I went to one of these Scrimages Packers vs Packers at Lambeau with my Elway Jersey on. It was pretty funny actually, quite a few people wanted to kick my ass.
So dude, **** the SD fans, do everything you can to annoy/piss them off.

I went to the Turkey day game in Dallas and brougt my camera with a 200MM zoom, they wouldn't let me in. I had to walk all the way back to the car and put it away, so you will wanna make sure before you go all that way.
When I went to the Charger/Bronco game at Invesco, no problem, they let me in and said have fun.
Maybe Dallas was pissed since I was wearing a Bronco shirt and not a Cowboy shirt? All I know is it sucked to go all the way back to the car and back to the game. I missed half the first quarter because of it.
Wear your colors and have fun!

I checked the Dallas Cowboys stadium rules and regulations, and it states that:
CAMERAS: You may bring a small, still shot camera to Texas Stadium. However, video cameras and cameras with extended or zoom lenses are not allowed at Texas Stadium.
But the San Diego governmental Qualcomm website clearly says that:
Still and video cameras are permitted as long as they do not block the view of other patrons. At some special events such as concerts, Supercross and Monster Truck shows, cameras and video recording devices are not permitted.
In your case, Invesco Field at Mile High has a "gray area" policy:
Hand-held still camera photography is welcomed at events for non-commercial personal purposes. Cameras and lenses must be of a reasonable size, as determined by INVESCO Field at Mile High management. Tripods, camera lenses or any other type of equipment which may interfere with other fans' enjoyment of the game is not permitted
So I'll take my chances.
Thanks for the heads up though.

alrite guys, thanks for the input. I've been thinking about the Old Town Transit center for quite some time now ('cuz I do have a free reserved parking pass but I want to avoid the traffic on Friars road on the way out), but would some San Diegoan please explain the trolley thing to me? Where is the old town transit center, how far away is it from Qualcomm, and is there a long walk after I get off at Qualcomm? Is it safe to park at the Old Town Transit Center? How much it cost? Which of the three lines should I take? I just found this graphic but I don't know if it's really Qualcomm Qualcomm or just Qualcomm area. Otherwise, I would rather take the traffic and avoid the rush by coming out later. Thanks guys.

Personally, I'm wearing the gear but, as is the case when I'm in other visiting cities, I keep my mouth shut.
Qualcomm looks really close to Mission Valley on that map.....can a person walk that with no problem or is it farther than it looks?

Ya. Exactly my question. I'm trying to figure out how far it actually is, and if it is worth it.
I'll wear my alternate (orange) BAILEY jersey for the hell of it.

I don't know the distance between trolly stops...based on that map, it looks like it's nothing....but that can be decieving.
It's an away game, that means I gotta wear the white
