Don't worry about Wilson unless he has a busted leg. He played with two bad shoulders one year and gutted it out...

I was hoping he would sit out in the first place.

That goes for Champ Bailey, Plummer, Anderson, and Smith as well.

Anderson should sit of course because of the ankle.....the others I'd say play for a half before subsituting anyone.

Who plays MLB? Burns?

Hope his knee is still holding up. We need him playing ST's.

Broncos | Team still evaluating Burns
Sat, 26 Nov 2005 09:32:21 -0800

Jeff Legwold, of the Rocky Mountain News, reports Denver Broncos LB Keith Burns (knee) was still being evaluated by the team Friday, Nov. 26. The team is looking at two of the ligaments in his knee, either the medial collateral ligament or posterior cruciate ligament. If Burns is expected to miss the rest of the 2005 season, the team could bring back free agent LB Terry Pierce.

Personally I would like to see DJ Williams in the middle for this week, and throw Chuckwurah in at SAM....

Good. Wilson has limped his way through the last few games. I have no doubt that he won't lose his edge after two weeks off. The way Burns and Louis Green have been playing I have little to worry about.

The Broncos have secured a first-round bye and have nothing to play for at San Diego, where the Chargers are out of the playoff race. So, coach Mike Shanahan can rest several of his starters, including quarterback Jake Plummer, running back Mike Anderson and banged-up cornerback Champ Bailey.

Excellent. Pretty much what I would do.

Then the Broncos can ruin the chefs playoff hopes by forfeiting the last game as chefs need chargers to lose.

Nah, the chefs ruined their own hopes when they hired queen karla aka see 3 whole playoff wins under her watch.

Much ado about nothing really. Even if Wilson didn't opt for surgery on the thumb he wouldn't have played against San Diego anyway.

This gives him a shade under three weeks to heal up before the playoffs.

Rest anyone even lightly banged up. Chucky can play that spot...

There were so many cheap shots in that game not called I was astounded.

That isn't true, but wilson won't play.

This ought to be good, explain how that's not true.

It's a meaningless game and he's already playing hurt. Why exactly would the Broncos put him in there against San Diego with a broken thumb even if he hadn't opted for surgery?
