i havent heard anything of real substance, but on the radio (am950) they did say he was recovering well and hoped to be ready for the playoffs.

let me add that this report was BEFORE we knew we had the #2 seed, so they were thinking he MAY have even been ready if we had to play in round one.

fingers crossed ladies and gents.
fox played very well against oakland, but im of the belief that we're going
to need darrent against better teams.
we may (even SHOULD) be able to get past our 1st round opponent at home, but should we have to play at indy, we'll need darrent.

here's to hoping he can be out there.

It would be huge to have Darrent back for the Divisional Playoff game, but in my opinion he is not needed as much at Corner as much as he is needed as a returner. Foxy can hold his own, and it would be fantastic to have them both on the field in Nickle situations and rotating series in base, but where D-Will will be an asset is as a returner. We will need someone to assist in the field position game in the playoffs. That really could make all the difference in playoffs. Running the ball, stopping the run, and field position.

i disagree. Fox is my main man, but Adams is as much a threat as DW (sort of). We need him as a corner first, then returner. Even if he comes back, i doubt he returns anything in the playoffs. (How odd is that to say that now at the end of the season for what he was drafted for)Ha!

I was not suggesting that D-Will should not play corner at all. He needs to be on the field at corner no doubt, but in my opinion where he sould make the biggest impact for the Broncos in the playoffs is in the return game. That is where he can be a difference maker, and where the Broncos could have a huge advantage given that they have a great punter as well is field position. Field position is so important when fairly evenly matched teams are playing each other and in the AFC especially all the teams are very good. Field position will be huge.

How much time has Paymah been getting while DW was out?

I say we let Champ totally rest this weekend and give the start to Fox and Paymah, or maybe Rockhead and Paymah in case something happens to fox...

If Paymah could just slow a receiver down, we'd be pretty well prepared for that Indy game.

We all know what happened last year, and i just don't see that happening with the DB's we now have.. I hope Alexander doesn't see the field but if he does manage to get out there, i bet he doesn't give up those plays again.
Good to know he is a 5th option this time around rather than a 3rd.

Oh and by the way.. no one seems to talk about this but Champ shut down Harrison last year.. i feel confident he could do that again.
