how did each player do this year in your opinion? note, this question is about expectations of the level of play for a player on this team, not how they compare to other players around the league.

A=did everything the coaching staff could have asked for and more.

as you can see, i have a grade of X for alot of these players. i just haven't followed those positions closely enough to give grades (or the players haven't played enough to earn them), so i am interested in knowing how well they've been playing from other readers who've been paying closer attention.

there are a couple of players who stand out to me as exceptional this year. Plummer, Rod Smith, Mike Anderson, the starting secondary, the left side of the OL, Al Wilson, etc. i'm firmly of the mindset that Jake is a knucklehead, but he's had a great year and i'm not cringing anymore when he steps back to pass on 3rd and 9 like i did the past 2 years. hopefully, Jake's put his knucklehead days behind him for good.

i've been a bit disappointed with Sauerbrun. i'm still not seeing as many touchbacks on kickoffs as i expected, though the Broncos were much better this year than last year in the game of field position. i'm concerned about the pass rush and Pryce seems to have disappeared. i know he's getting double teamed, but if you only rush 3 or 4, somebody is going to get double-teamed! i also thought we'd be better at TE. there's still a noticable dropoff there compared to years past (Sharpe). also, despite Lelie's good game yesterday, i still see the Broncos struggling with the downfield passing game.

what do the rest of you think?

nice job.....

I'd only change a few things:

I'd give Pryce and Warren each B's....I'd give the rest of the d-line C's

I'd give Putzier a C right along with Alexander...

other than that....WE ARE IN AGREEMENT!
