Beat the Chargers! C'mon, you can do this! Wouldn't it be sooo much cooler to play us in the playoffs at Mile High than a team like the Squeelers or Jagoffs? You can make it happen if you help us out and beat San Diego at home. Don't you want to sweep Marty? Don't you want to say, "we beat the greatest non-playoff team in the history of the leaugue?" Resting your starters is for pussies. Throw everything you've got at them! Have some fun before the real games begin!

As for that Pittsburgh loss the Chiefs need, I'm sure Garcia wouldn't mind disguising himself as a Lions fan and trolling the Pittsburgh boards with mojo threads. You never know.

C'mon! Unite with us just this once to make the playoffs more special! Go Broncos! Go Lions! :egbgb: :egbgb: :woowoo: :woowoo:

Nope, hope the steelers and Broncos win. You can sit your fat ass at home and eat potato chips during the playoffs. Im fed up with the chiefs and Vermeil needs to stop crying in press conferences. Did anyone see the press conference Vermeil had? What a joke. Good riddance vermeil and here is to Goonther coaching the squad next year! LOL

The way the tiebreakers work out, KC can still finish behind the Bolts which would also put them technically behind the Steelers. It's kooky, but it's true.

No matter really. All Pittsburgh has to do is beat the Lions and they're in.

Honestly, Pittsburgh scares me 100x more than KC. That running game, especially. Teams are going to realize that going after our so-called "weak" pass defense" is chasing fool's gold. Or will they?

We don't really need to worry about Pittsburgh because the Broncos would likely only see them if both advanced to the AFC Championship game. Pittsburgh will be almost certainly be the 6th seed, which means that even if they get by the 3rd seed in the wild card round (most likely Cincy), they would be the lowest seed left and would then have to travel to Indy.

The playoffs are working out just as I thought a couple weeks ago.

Indy
Denver each w/a bye
Cincy hosts #6 Pitt.
NE hosts #5 Jax.

I'm not as sure as I was a week ago, but I think both Cincy and NE win at home. NE then goes to Indy. The way the Pats have been playing, it could happen. Denver can handle the Bengals at Mile High... AFC CHAMPIONSHIP IN DENVER!!! It's going to happen!

I have to ask if Cinci loses next week and NE wins out, do they switch spots? I also hope we get two home games in the Playoffs!!!!!! I LOVE OSKIE KARMA!!^5

Yes, Cincy & New England would switch spots if that were to happen. So Cincy has something to play for at Narrowhead next weekend.

I really don't see the Broncos winning Sunday. The Chargers are going to be out for blood. They want to be the best team not to make the playoffs. And I guess they will get some sort of satisfaction out of beating Denver's second stringers.

Word is that Bradley Van Pelt will likely get substantial playing time this Saturday.

Shottenheimer hates Denver. Denver ran him out of Cleveland...ran him out of Kansas City.

I'm figuring a three-four year run with Oakland sometime before 2010 just to complete the division sweep.

He's been around so long even greasy Al remembers his name.

If he gets a chance at lowering the boom on the Broncos, I'm betting he takes it just as far as he can go.

Good.

That is exactly what I am hoping for. I want the club to be completely healthy for the second round game and I want us to screw the Chiefs in the process. Ideally, Detroit will upset Pittsburgh to get little Mullet Fans hopes up and then Denver just lies down and crushes their dreams. I will enjoy watching the Chargers screw their own draft positioning for a meaningless win.

i agree and he has gotta know that Shanny wants that 2 1k rusher record. (er, tie for record)

Also Marty prob wants a shot to knock out KC as they did him and his team in. BVP for a 1/2 game at least in live fire will be fun to watch! I didnt even know who the kid was before we drafted him, and now im as much a homer as the others! Ha!

I figured that would be the case after he came in for Plummer late in the Raiders game. I'll be looking forward to his first pass in a real NFL game.

Let's see if I've got this right.

So if the Broncos (led by Bradley Van Pelt) lose Saturday, the Chiefs are officially eliminated from playoff contention.

If Van Pelt somehow pulls out a win in San Diego, the Chiefs are still alive and could get in as a wild card if they beat Cincy and the Lions upset the Steelers.

Ha! Good luck with that.

With the Lions required to beat anybody let alone the Steelers in Puttsburgh makes me not care what happens this weekend. At this point a Chargers win put them a pick behind us in the draft. That is probably the best thing we have going at this point.

the Lions are so bad, even if Pitt brought their F game to that game, the lions would still find a way to lose
