I think 2222 is a cooler # than 2000 so here is my Thank Me for reaching a Milestone thread. This will also double as my Happy Holiday/New Year Greeting!

Thanks to Taco for running this place, I spend way to much time here & need to find a way to get less addicted. This is the 1st & only online forum I am a member of I hit Network newsgroups like MS Technet & Cisco when I have problems but as far as a community this is it.

I joined for the Bronco/football info but found so much more: friends to vent with during Broncos games that understand what it is like to live & die with your team snap after snap (Goob, Garcia, Sassy, to name a few regulars). A place to tailgate before Bronco games on OF1 with Omaners! & I have enjoyed the Cheef smacktalk though think there should be an alternate forum for it so it does not clutter the main football forum. A one stop place to get all the latest Bronco/football info! Nothing compares to the Mane, I just Hope Taco can find a way to scale the growth & get the proper funding.

So for Football Bronco knowledge I would like to send thanks to Socal (go WHITESOX!), Kahan, slap, only ones that come to mind right now.

Fav posters: Bronx33, Hotrod, Spider, Mock (cat food is for cats! I worry about you man), Quitetiger (Staysafe & I will get to PO one day!), Atlas for being atlas, Rayfinkle, DomCasul (you crack me up), Anthonypacino, crushaholic,Pez, Broncobuff1, Meck. & Yes even Crazylegs (there is a heart deep down under that big old motor of his). If I left you off sorry I will mention you at 22222, these were just the people that came to my old mind 1st.

Also Thanks to Meck & Disco for the welcome at OF1 durning SD game this year - if you are new to mane or have not been to OF1 you need to go! Meck is a great host, we have a great place to meet other Mane members at. Just pitch in & help Meck & Disco out while you are there I am sure they can use it. Also Bring back the Rocky Mountian Thunder if you go to a Home game!

Last but not least the real reason I signed up was when Scorpiosnow posted a pic of a "monkeyeatpeach" Kunfu move in response to some obscure post. My buddy named his Fantasy Football team after that Pic. It has gone down as an epic myth at our poker night. So thanks to Scorpiosnow for pushing me over the edge! We almost named our softball team monkeyeatpeach but our company paid the fees & bought the jerseys so they got the naming rights.

Thanks again for letting me be apart of this family. The best to you & yours in 2006. GO BRONCOS!

because it seems like at least once a week somebody posts this on the main forum and I'm curious as to why people think it's a big deal.

Mine had more to it than just a Thank me for reaching 2222. I thanked others for making this place a community. What is wrong with that? The fact I didn't mention everyone? Did you even read the post?

Once again it was meant as more of a "thank to all you guys & Sassy at the Mane who have added some flava to my Bronco experience" but if you didn't read my post that is cool...I guess.
