I don't understand that at all, most of you guys have been touting how good he was the last couple years. In order to turnaround his career this year would have required him to not be very good the last couple...:kiddingme

F that let the Boys sign Owens so they will cut KeyShawn and we can sign him. Better blocker, not as big as a problem and he would fit our system better. Say what you want about KeyShawn but that guy is turning it around. The sign that says not his problem ROCKS and I don't know if you guys remember the thanksgiving day game peace about KeyShawn, but that was heart warming stuff there.

But what did Jake comeback from? 4,000 yards, 27 TD's, and a 10-6 record? Yes, he had too many INT's, but I think he still had a very good year last year. Coming to Denver was the biggest turnaround for him. Time has shown that Jake wasn't the problem in the Valley of the Sun, as that team still sucks despite the changes they made.

On a side note, do you ever go to any ASU or Cards games, ludo?

he came back to make it a 13-3 season ;D

My friends sister used to be in the ASU marching band so i went to the games when Jake was QB. Ive only been to a couple since then tho. And only time i go to Cards games are in pre season when the Broncos come here.

edit: and next year if i saw right, Broncos come here for Reg. season, cant wait for that!

This award will be tough to pick, Strahan, Smith, Vanden Bosch (no chance), I would think that Urlacher could get votes as well, then we have MA to pick from as well.

Sweet. The last game I saw in Tempe was ASU-USC in Jake's senior year. Agree there's not much reason to see the Cards.

I'm waiting for the Broncos schedule to come out for next year because ASU plays at Colorado, so if the Broncos are at home that same weekend, I will be planning a major road trip to CO. (sorry to go off-topic)

Lack of other options last year.

Ray Lewis is likely to get it next year, though I think Urlacher could make a case for this year to compete with Smith.

Ha, man thats pretty dumb. Owens is KING of all Cancer and you would rather have that worthless peace of chit on our team? Owens wouldn't piss on a kid that can't walk let alone give him time or the money he needs. I take that back. He would piss on the kid, for 100 bucks.

I think Steve Smith should get it. He actually came back from something, and came back even better than before. He's had the best year of any receiver out there, IMO.

Keyshawn is less talented and personality wise not much better. F*** them both really. There are more talented FA WR's out there that will cause less problems.

Too bad that there is no award for "Carrer turn around", Jake didn't come back from anything. F TO and everyone that wants us to sign him, we can find someone within to step up enough, we still have our playmaker from our last superbowl in Rod_i_O_i_

Mark my words: Plummer will not recieve any public accolades for this season.

He wont even get mention as an all-pro. Is it unfair? Yes.

Well, why doesnt he get the recognition he deserves? Simple. Denver is not a media favorite and the media choose the winners.

they should have an award for most Improved player because Jake would have a shot at that. Combacks are for players who were very good at when point then had a crappy year or years and returned to being a good player.

?

Your not really that dense are you? He threw 20 ints last year and many of them were very very costly. Hell, he singal handedly lost the game in S.D. last year with his 4 ints. This year he has played conservqative and not throwing many picks plus he has made the big play when Denver needed it.

27 tds and 20 ints is not a "Very good" year, it's average to below average. His 18 TDs to 6 ints is a VERY GOOD year.

No, I'm not dense, but thanks for asking, a**wipe. The debate about Plummer last year has been beaten to death here, and I don't wish to get it started again.

You say he didn't have good year, fine, that's your opinion. The point was that based on what he did last year v. this year would hardly merit qualification for Comeback Player of the Year.

It doesn't matter if T.O. has talent, he's a cancer, and for SI to think he is coming to Denver is idiotic because Shanahan has said he has NO INTEREST in that cretin.

Do these clowns even read the papers? SI just gets more and more pathetic every year....now they are giving round trip tickets to Hawaii to Club Med just to sign a subscrition...I saw one issue so thin you couldn't wipe your ass with it, and it was 90% ads to boot...

You honestly couldn't sound as stupid if you were Joe T or even Madden.

Are they deaf dumb and blind? First, T.O. isn't going to be released, they are going to rub his nose in his own crap, and second, Shanahan has said he's not interested, thank God.
