Every playoff team but one goes home a loser, and the team that loses the Super Bowl is the biggest loser of all. Pretty scary stuff. Just feel lucky your cheffies will be home where it's safe and warm. That's a good place for you and the casual fans that think Super Bowl losers are super losers. My favorite sour grapes line is: "I would rather miss the playoffs and get a higher draft pick unless we win the Super Bowl." Like that's ever gonna happen to KC. There's no need to be ashamed of your 35 year draught. If every team took turns going to the Super Bowl, it would still take about 30 something years for each Super Bowl. It gets even worse when some teams get greedy and go to 6 Super Bowls in 20 years hogging roughly a third of the chances for KC or any other AFC team a shot at the Super Bowl during that span. We can't all be winners, but at least you'll know your team is a loser early this year...again.
