"I remember when we did win it in '98, nobody really talked about it," Pryce said. "And I'm assuming we won the AFC West because we were 14-2, quite honestly. No one said anything. That's what San Diego does - they celebrate when they win the AFC West. They put hats on, 'AFC West champs.' I mean, get out of here. AFC West champs. Are you for real?"
That's up on the bulletin board in San Diego ALREADY. :militia:

Hey, SmilingAssassin27 . . . is your signature meant to quote Linus of Peanuts? Or is that quote directly from scripture?

more production out of trevor is a must. I was amused though at the rushing 2 and dropping 9 in pass defense. They actually got close a few times...dman

rushing two won't work against teams with a good offensive line.

He looked pretty steady in the pocket, not running for his life like he was when we played them.

to his credit, and for the sake of context, it was the 3rd 'ridiculous' response and you could see he was being pretty winkwink about it; the joke being that you feel like every loss shouldn't happen because everytime you step on the field you think you're the best.
maybe 'joke' wasn't the right word.

I can't remember the last time Pryce was spotted in a big game. You'd have to go back years.
He'll have another chance this year.
Remember a couple years back after the Indy loss and Wilson was calling people out, but not saying any names? I've always been positive that Pryce was one of the guys he was talking about. That was right after Trevor held up the organization for that ridiculous salary we're paying him.

Give me NC State's Mario Williams in a trade-up scenario and I'm happy.

Only one huge game this year in Week 3 against chefs. He needs more consistency for 10mil or whatever he makes.

Your point is well taken, but you are off by about $4 Mill
PS. Remember that Pryce is coming out of an operation from last yr. It usually takes about a yr before you can play well game-in-game-out. The body just needs time to totally heal, especially at this elite level.
Popps,
Pryce did not distinguis himself in that final Indy game, but neither did Wilson or any other player. However, Pryce did have a great yr that season.

He's riding pretty high right now. Let them beat the chorfs in KC and ride high into sd and then total they can be embarassed on their field for the 3rd time this year.

I think Pryce had a tremendous game a couple of years ago when he sacked that QB and gave him a black eye and chipped teeth. That was the beginning of the end for Griese.
