But his comments this past week were just Moronic. I think frustration is really getting to him. But, i just read a article on the Jags players who were fined for uncessary roughness against the Colts to which Peterson replied "It was like, 'Indianapolis comes to town, now all the fines come out.' I hate all these fines and how they're changing the league around." Peterson said. "You can't even play the game the way you want to play it now."
What a idiot.

???
Petersons comments were fine with me, and Brooks comments were something that have been bottled up all season, ive got no problem with either of them.

Peterson and Henderson both should have been ejected from the game. They were lucky they were just 15 yard penalties.

That's not true...he's a great talent...but he's playing in Arizona...I mean New Orleans...wait....I think's Texas now. Arron Brooks was dead on with his comments. NOw all those players are twisting in the wind...Arron Brooks just might get paroled this off-season...and it'll be the best thing for his career.

I was thinking the other day, maybe Shanny takes a shot???
He has the talent level and the mobility to be a perfect QB in this system. Needs to take some time and study, but he has a bigger arm than Jake and those boots would be turned into bigger plays with a player like that here.

Brooks has all the physical tools and then some but he combined with that defense is the biggest reason why they get results like Arizona, Texas err New Orleans. Most QB's in the league would kill to have had weapons like McCalister, Horn and Stallworth at their disposal the last few years...Not to mention a fairly solid O Line. There defense has been crap and to be fair it isn't easy to win consistently with a bad defense. Manning is one of the few to ever be able to pull off that stunt but Brooks inability to make good decisions has killed more drives than Tiger Woods.

He's the type of guy we would need to hit Lelie in stride.....but I think at this point it would be easier to replace Lelie

I remember the backward pass last year...but my point was the guy is playing in New Orleans...the atmosphere of living in New Orleans is a lazy one...and to know that you only need to spend a week down there. I think if Brooks received good coaching he can be successful. The most glaring example of this is Jake Plummer. Played like **** in AZ...played like most plays where the last one of the game. Brooks has had more talent around him for sure, but you put that guy is a solid organization and he'll succeed.

So you think players should be able to cheap shot one another on a regular basis? i know this kind of thing goes on to some degree anyway but to allow it without any consequences would be a bad thing. Many careers would be ending on every Sunday if the NFL allowed them to behave like that. As for Brooks being a Bronco i would love it and god knows Aaron needs a change of scenery.

No they shouldnt cheap shot each other but i agree with Peterson in his statement. If it was a different QB it wouldnt have been a fine IMHO

Well, dont get me wrong i know the league is looking out for their poster boy. but i was just shocked that Peterson would insinuate that he would like to behave like that on a regular basis. Thats all i was getting at really.

i dont think he does, altho he is a LB and they are supposed to be hard nosed guys. I doubt he means to hurt people tho, he just wants them to know hes there and if you have to get a late hit in to do it, so be it.

Defensive players that don't twist someone's ankle in a pileup now and then aren't trying very hard.
