Just would like to know what you all consider a Pagan to be?

Someone who believes in a god (or gods) other than the Christian God is usually considered a pagan. Heathens on the other hand are usually "godless" meaning they don't believe in any god.
Most Christian holidays are historically pagan holidays (see feast day of mithras/Christmas/Dec. 25th) that have been "adopted" by Christianity in order to convert pagan worshippers to Christianity.

Similarly, many ideas and stories in The Bible (from the Garden of Eden right on down to the virgin birth, death and resurrection, etc.) were borrowed from earlier cultures, e.g., Summeria, Babylon, Egypt, et al.
