In today's DPO piece on the offense's red zone improvement, it says Rod Smith "would not be interviewed for this story." What do you think that means? Rod is so fan-friendly, there has to be a selfless reason for it, right? Or he doesn't like the writer or his staff?

I don't know, but my guess would be that he had other priorities at the moment the reporter asked for his comments. Does seem a rather harsh choice of words by the writer though.
