I have five running backs:
Rudi Johnson (definately starting)
Ronnie Brown
Michael Bennett
Mike Anderson
Tatum Bell
I have to start one of those four (Brown, Bennett, Anderson or Bell).
I'm in the playoffs, who should I start
I'm torn, I want to start Anderson but he hasnt gotten many carries lately and I want to start Bell, but Bennett is the Vikings number 1 guy now but Faison and Moore will still see carries.
And Brown splits time w/ Ricky Williams.
Decisions, decisions, decisions.

I'd go with Bell. Hell, I AM going with Bell. I have Ricky Williams and Mike Anderson too, but Buffalo's run defense is poor, and I know Bell will bust em early and often. If you win money in this league, I'd like my 10% in cash please. Small unmarked bills. Good Luck.

I think both Bronco backs could see 100 yards but the safe call might be Brown. You just never know what Shannys gonna do with the 2 or 3 headed monster that is the Broncos running attack.

Safe bet is Bennett (not splitting carries except potentially goal line with Fason), followed by Ronnie (two headed monster compared to three), Anderson, and Bell.
For best reward (depends on scoring) I think it's Anderson, Bell, Ronnie, Bennett.

you have to go with anderson. I'm in the same spot---i have alexander, but then only bell and anderson--and the snow is suited for a power back.
buffalo is such a bad run d, and jake showed earlier how poor he performs in inclement weather(vs wash), that you gotta expect shanahan to plow the big guy.

Wow.... everyone chose a different back... looks like you're right back where you started.
P.S.- Go with Bell!

You are right Great13. Everyone makes valid points.
I know for sure I'm starting Rudi Johnson, I'm leaning a little towards Bell or Bennett.

Bennet against pittsburgh?? No frickin way.
Brown against the jets is a better pick and bell against the bills is probably the best.

This is why fantasy owners hate Shanahan. He just goes with whatever works best in a given game - - which is great in reality - - but in fantasy, it makes it very hard to predict. Bell might have a great game, or maybe this time it will be Anderson, or maybe both, or maybe all the TDs will come through the air.
All I know is that I started Michael Bennett once this season. He played the entire game and got me exactly zero points.
All things considered, I'd go with Brown.

True.
I started Bennett last week and he got 14 points so I was happy especially since it was as my #3 RB behind Alexander and Rudi.
He never has told us what the scoring format is...that could change my answer.

I think I will go w/ Bell and live w/ the consequences.

The Jets are almost as bad as the Bills when it comes to stopping the run.
