Nice link on our Pro Bowlers or who should be, not all the names on the defensive side of the ball, with Nalen the lone choice on O. Was surprised to see fergy get some credit, not sure if he's not just getting his due because of INT's or not.

Some of these I like, but some of them bother me. A lot seems to be based on how they played last year and nothing to do with this season. Some of his support for his choices is vague and just assumed knowledge that people everwhere nod their head to because its always been "true", even if it's not anymore.

Gonzo is hardly a "slam dunk" as they say when other TE's in AFC have outplayed him this year. Hape specifically.

I agree with all of the running backs.

"Waters and Shields are the reason Larry Johnson is having a great year" That's total garbage. Roaf is the real reason and the Chiefs know it. Ben Hamilton deserves to go.

I am VERY amazed that they included Pryce in the mix considering most of these analysts don't watch games and just look at stats. I'm surprised that they don't even mention Jared Allen even in the running. Kyle Vandem Bosch is playing very well all around, but has been ignored because the Titans aren't doing well.

I don't think that Jags tackles deserve it. Their team is very average against the run. I don't think Stroud and Henderson deserve it. Can't argue with anyone who plays on the chargers defense though.

Vilma should be ahead of Wilson and Peterson.

I love that He picked Mathis for the Corner possition. He's been great all season and no one is talking about him. That he sees O'Neal for what he is is impressive considering the way the media has masturbated over him recently.

I don't agree that Fergson has outplayed Lynch at all. Personally I think Lynch played better this year than last year, but If Ferguson goes to the Pro-bowl, which i have trouble seeing happen, I won't complain. :)

Todd Sauerbrun should go, fool!

...Oh yea, and then there is

Maybe Broncos O-Line hating. At least Nalen made it.
And how about NICK FERGUSON?! I wasn't ready for that.

Here's a question for anybody knowledgeable on the Pro-Bowl... Is TO eligible?

Seriously, even with his deactivation/suspension/whatever, could fans vote him into the Pro-Bowl?

I'm sure they could because he is technically on the team because if he wasn't someone could sign him.

Only if he signs with a team at least 3 weeks prior to the end of the regular season according to NFL rules. If he signs the last week of the season and then plays 2 weeks in the playoffs then he is still not eligible.

I think the Jags tackles deserve it. You have to watch them play to see that teams have trouble dealing with them. They are at the top of the league in rushing first downs allowed and rushing TDs. I think that's why Denver threw a couple of short yardage TD passes to Carswell when we played them. We would have just run it up the middle against any other team. They have also been the most effective against Peyton Manning. They kept collapsing the pocket, and Stroud tipped his pass for an INT last week.

Agreed. In many ways, I'd rather have Jeb than Heap.

We should be throwing to Jeb 10 times a game ... best run-after-catch on team. And if we'd beaten KC, his heads up fighting to get open and give Jake a target on that long scramble wouldda been a classic . . .

People don't watch the Fullback....Neal was going to the Pro Bowl when Howard was around....it's totally gay. Tony Richardson and KJ are both as good as Neal. But KJ is becoming a go to guy in the redzone.

Todd Heap was the best TE in his 2nd year. He dropped down to "top 3" during his 3rd year. He was hurt last year, and he is fourth this year.

I'll take that bet . . .

Let's get it straight - here's the terms: You claim you have 214,000 rep points, incl. those that were erased? You realize, Cluck-cluck - that's about 15 rep clicks for EACH and EVERY of your 14,900 posts? That's the facts, then, and that's the bet.

Damn bro, you could be in trouble. Before TJ reset the rep a few months ago, some of the rep sticks carried some heavy weight. A few heavy hitters could give you a 100+ point rep boost.

I know, it seems absurdly petty. What happened was, he attacked me with "you are the most annoying poster on this entire board."

I'm not saying he's WRONG, mind you Uhh , I just was in NO MOOD to listen to some ad hominum attack like that - especially when I see annoying posts all the time - and just move along. No, duh?

So I thought the Rep system would be a good gauge of which guy - ME or HIM - was the more annoying, and since they're invisible now, a real "Man's Bet." It started out as a simple bet offer, I said "two weeks of avatars," but Cluck-cluck just kept ratcheting it up.

Yeah - I was guessing there might've been a different "Rep" system before I showed up 4 months ago - that's why I set up the facts like this:

QUOTING MY BET:
"that's about 15 rep clicks for EACH and EVERY of your 14,900 posts? That's the facts, then, and that's the bet."

Since I arrived, it's been 1 click for 1 point.

I agree completely. Kenoy was our biggest off-season loss.

Is it just me, or was Champ's dramatic writhing "in pain" when Quitterson burned them for that TD a sure indication that Hit-Man blew it?

I think Fergy could play the SS pretty well and get a young FS via draft to replace Lynch. Lynch could play Big nickle role if he comes back.

I was worried that the 1-click, 1-Rep point system maybe was different before, so I qualified my bet. You're telling me that THIS FACTUAL PRE-REQUISITE was met, and I lose?:

QUOTING MY BET:

Look, I don't want to get involved in this. I never did to begin with. Plus I always think the "leave the board" bets are the stupidest bets a person can make.

All I know is that the rep system was as such that the inflation amounts got astronomical toward the end of the expirement, making the thing a real joke as a newbie could come in and have full rep bars in a couple of days because the rep points were so out of whack.

I don't know if Alec's rep meets your qualifications, but what I do know is that Alec has always done well on the Rep chart, and has always been one of the top rep-getters, as hard as that may be to believe for some.

I'm sure that's true. Actually, I just wanted to bet avatars for two weeks, and things kinda escalated form there . . .

Anyway, I read his posts and his politics are right there with mine, and we agree on a lot of takes, I don't know why he attacked me . . . like I said, just move along. I tried to bury the hatchet 2 or 3 times this morning - check the PM's. I never heard back from him.

Why that bother's you I dont know. Some schmuck on the internet thinks your posting is annoying and you let it bother you so much you make a big deal about it, spam my PM box calling me a chicken **** and such because I dont want to really make you look like a dumbass with some stupid bet you had no idea what you were getting into.

....now im really pissed reading the "this is probably the most clear" line after the qb's.
is he kidding?

manning and palmer are crystal clear, though its WAY premature to call him one of the best in the league after ONE good year just as it was premature to say the same thing about brees last year.

after those two, how in the HELL is brady going "clear".

how annoying.
its about who's playing the best THIS YEAR, and that is NOT tom brady.
i know all the media loves to smooch his ass 24/7, but for crying out loud.
you can make an argument for the guy, but dont tell me its "clear" when he's been "clearly" outplayed by plummer THIS YEAR.

whatever.
might as well just wrap my mind around the fact that plummer will get screwed.
what we do in the playoffs is alot more important anyway.
