Just kicking around the possible scenarios for the AFC. Maybe someone can do the NFC?
I may screw this up, so chime in if you see any errors...
AFC WildCard weekend:
Jacksonville @ New England
Pittsburgh @ Cinci
Bye: Indy, Denver
Indy has it all clinched. Based on the remaining schedules, it's almost a given that new England wins the division and that Jacksonville wins the #1 wild card spot. (They're sched is SF/Hou/Tenn... gotta like that.)
I believe Denver would win a tiebreaker with Cinci if they keep pace, and both teams have similar remaining schedules. (DEN: Buff/Oak/SD Cin: Det/Buff/KC) Pittsburgh has an easier remaining schedule than KC/SD, plus those teams play each other, which means one definitely has to lose.
(Pit: Minn/Clv/Det) San Diego's schedule is brutal: Indy/Den/KC. KC's isn't much better: NYG/CD/Cinci.
For fun, I'd bet on both home teams winning those match-ups, which would mean...
Divisional
New England @ Indy
Cinci @ Denver
I doubt I have to tell you what I think the outcomes of those would be.
Thoughts? Feelings?
