There just has to be more to this story. I'd wait until the school gets their say. If thats what truely happened then someone needs to be fired.

Maybe there is more to this story. I just find it unblievable that this is still continues to happen. This isn't the first time I've heard of this happening.

It might have happened like that and if so someones gonna pay Im sure. The first thing I noticed (right or wrong) was the kids "interview" he sounds like a punk to me.

What's an alternative school? Is it a school for bad ass kids? If so then they may have rules that dont allow but one language.

Yup...that's what it is in theory...a school for kids with disciplinary problems who get the boot from regular school system until they do their pennance. Unfortunately a lot of other kids get tossed in there for little or nothing because it also makes the school district serious $$$ for each kid they place in there...a little known fact you may wish to consider if your kid ever violates some wimpy insignificant rule and is suddenly labeled "at risk". I wouldn't doubt that speaking anything but Englilsh would trigger some kind of scenario like this if the teacher thinks they're up to something.
