Hey, what happened to it? Does anybody know? I can honestly say I never turn it to that channel now that it's gone. As it was, I barely tolerated all the Best Damn Sports Show promotion, just to get my fix of Denver sports. Also, what happened with the personalities on the show? Did they resurface somewhere else in Denver?

On another note, does anyone else find the programming on Altitude just embarrassingly bad? I watched the Altitude Summit, or Altitude Sports Report, or some damn thing the other night, and it was just painful. This is the show with Jerome Jeronovich (wasn't that the name of the guy on CNN?), Irv Brown (did I miss a memo on his becoming an Oompah Loompah?), some guy named Will with a big damn forehead, and some guy who didn't say two words in the fifteen minutes I watched it. Altitude's been going for over a year now, hasn't it? Do they plan on improving the programming? Or is their business model to just whore out the Avs and Nuggets, and hope that people will look past the fact that the rest of the programming sucks?

Lastly, has anyone noticed the size of Jerome Jeronovich's ears? It's almost shocking.

I guess that since the Avs and Nuggets are on a different channel and nobody watches the Rockies that Fox didn't need a local show anymore.

Jerome Jarinovich is the same idiot from CNN Headline News that would blare out "I'm Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeermoe Jarinovich" before each update. He's like 7 feet tall and looks down on all the Avalanche players, even when they're still on skates.

I don't know about Altitude's presentation during Nuggets games since I don't watch basketball, but their hockey postgame coverage ranks very high on the unintentional comedy scale. I love the fact that we now get multiple player interviews (there's nothing funnier than watching a guy like Vitaly Kolesnik, who doesn't speak any English, give an interview after a game) and highlights after each game. They really need to get some better on-air talent, though, because the people they have now are downright terrible (Jerinovich, Brandon Cruz, Kyle Keefe).

Altitude did do one thing right when they fired Doug McLeod and moved Mike Haynes into the TV play-by-play gig. That was like the Broncos going from Wade Phillips to Mike Shanahan; a huge improvement.

Altitude has improved 100% in the last year just with the addition of the Avalanche being back.

As far as pimping the Nugs and Avs, what else do you expect when they're owned by the same person?
