My brother in law is unfortunatly a Browns fan. :stupid: We flew in last saturday for the Browns game on sunday. I had to take my wife to the HOF in Canton as she had never been before.
Attached is a photo that I enjoy verrrrrrry much.
This is Al Davis's bust in the HOF and yes that is my Broncos two time Super Bowl winner hat on him.
sorry I just get a kick out of it.

I'm surprised the Al Davis bust is wearing a tie. I'm guessing polyester, zippered, jump suits don't translate to bronze as well.

I would wash the hat to get the pomade from the bust off your hat!

HA HA HA...yea...white jumpsuits don't translate to Bronze well...I have no clue about his outfits, comfort I guess, but your in public...you don't have to wear a tie, but a sweater and loose coat at least...
He could wear a sweater and loose jacket and look somewhat presentable..

[QUOTE][Oakland, Ca----The football world was shocked yesterday at a report from an
unidentified Raider insider who claims that Al Davis died in June of 1985. The anonymous letter,
sent exclusively to the Sports Enquirer, states that Davis died of natural causes at age fifty-six,
just months after the Raiders won their last Super Bowl. According to the handwritten letter, the
franchise was in "complete chaos and disarray" after Davis' untimely death. Unsure of how to
continue, Raider management came to the conclusion that hiring an Al Davis look alike would
serve as a temporary solution by maintaining team morale and presenting an image of stability
and longevity to the league. Thus, an actor was hired.
"It has been twelve years and the Raider hierarchy has still not accepted Coach Davis'
death" states the letter. "I have come forward because I love the Raiders and everything that the
silver and black have ever stood for. But they are now clearly running on the fumes of a once
proud mystique. The 1990's will soon pass and the Raiders will no longer be able to brag about
having won a Super Bowl every decade."
Mentioned as proof that the current Al Davis is an impostor---the swindling of tens of
millions of dollars from the city of Irwindale, the re-location from Los Angeles to Oakland
in 1995, the peddling of Personal Seat Licenses in Oakland, charging the highest ticket prices
in the NFL, and the "Jay Schroeder Era." "He (Davis) made his share of mistakes, but these
are simply all things that the real Coach Davis would have never ever done."
Also referred to was former Raider, Marcus Allen. According to the author, the "true"
Al Davis would have been "appalled and disgusted" with the mistreatment of the former Raider running back, "Marcus suspected a lot of things and was close to discovering that he was dealing with a fraud and not the actual Al Davis. Had Marcus remained a Raider he would have found out soon enough." Allen, the embodiment of Raider grit and glory, was forced to leave the team for the
Kansas City Chiefs in 1993 after a heated rivalry with the Davis clone.
However, the most revealing part of the letter is the claim by the author to have "physical proof" of Davis' death, citing the location of the body in a Brooklyn cemetery and "the exact color of the Raider jump-suit worn in the casket." No official investigation into the matter has been started by the NFL.
Raider personnel have refused to comment on the issue, although one unidentified
team spokesman reportedly called the charges "ludicrous."
