Just read that the dude was bipolar and hadn't taken his meds. His wife was right behind him. Damn. If he was just ill at the time....damn.

That's not the air marshalls problem, one thing you don't say is (i have a bomb) when boarding a plane. Sad but (end of story)

Well he basically committed suicide out there on the runway, can't blame the air marshalls at all for that.
It is certainly a shame, but no more so in my opinion than if he did himself in with poison, jumping off a bridge, etc. Its too bad he got off his meds.
