View Full Version : Coyer To Be Fired At End Of Season?

Based on recent defensive break downs and the mis-use of D.Williams and Foxy (not playing them properly considering their abilities) I believe there is a good possibility that Coyer will be fired at the end of the season. In particular was Coyer's refusal or inability to make half time adjustments against KC.

After we get into the playoffs and get lit up by either Cincy or Indy the calls to dismiss Coyer will resound through Broncoland! Mark my words!

Come up with this all by yourself or did Terry Schiavo help you out?

An epiphany is a sudden revelation of an ordinary object or scene.

You had no sudden revelation unless you just realized how retarded your thread is.

Well, I had a sudden revelation that Denver's D is "ordinary", we've been playing with smoke and mirrors all season long. Coyer is very unimaginable and this is the second time that players have been disappointed in his play calling, the first time against Miami.Knowitall

Actually, Shanahan is the only thing keeping this ship afloat, the anchor that is Coyer must be cut loose or it will bring it down!!

Your use of the words "refusal" and "inability" make it sound as though Coyer is incompetent. That's hardly the case. And with that, if he ever "refused" to do something to better the team then there would be strife in the lockerroom and we would hear about it through the media. As of now, that's not the case. You're reaching and coming up emptyhanded.

blame players, not coaches

We lost by 4 points in a back-and-forth game that was going to be very difficult to win in the first place. There's no need to pin Coyer on this.

If we are just an ordinary defense that has just looked good at times due to smoke and mirros, isn't that a credit to the coach? Isn't he the one manipulating the smoke and mirrors?

THE SKY IS FALLING!!!

I'm sick of it... we are 9-3... gosh... Pessimism sucks! I feel sorry that you have to live your life with such a dark cloud over your head all the time... must suck to be so negative.

This defense is better than in years past... maybe not statistically... except in turn overs... but they've saved our ass in a lot of games.

And if we get burned by Indy... how would that be any different than anyone else in the league? I think 12 other teams will testify to that this year.

Coyer is fired, BVP starts at QB, Tatum Bell gets 20+ carries a game..

Although this is a stupid thread just to take a shot at Coyer I will agree with this statement.
