But we still got the division suckas!
Seriously, props on taking a great game with a solid effort. Our teams matched up very well today, and it really could have gone either way right up until the end. I look forward to a possible rubber match in Denver in the playoffs if you guys can make it that far. Good luck the rest of the way. Out...

Congrats to the Chefs. They did a great job late in the 4th quarter with both solid D and great clock eating drives. Larry Johnson is becoming more and more patient back there. The AFC West STILL has the best RB's in all of football! Nothing new for a lot of us, but some still consider LJ an unknown.
Like Pez said though, it's going to take some real luck for the Chefs to make the playoffs... let alone win the division. Better hope that Pittsburg goes on a losing streak and the Chargers find a way to lose some games.

Meh. I blame this loss on the coaching staff. What was up with all the passing today? Especially on our last drive, Bell was picking up first downs left and right and they suddenly stopped running and started passing.:kiddingme

Don't understand you Bronco fans...you talk like you're world beaters but your defense and offense aren't much different than the Chiefs in terms of performance. Seriously, you're one bad kick away from having the same record as KC.
Then again, this kind of thread lets you pretend to be a great team for another week so I guess I understand why you started it...

considering you have the toughest schedule in the NFL coming up, You're playing for a crappier draft pick (If you win).
Have fun watching us while we're in the playoffs.

Yeah, like rights to get a road wildcard game at best ROFL!
Honestly, if either of our teams expect to do anything better over the course of the next 4 weeks, its gotta start with our defenses. KC may be better at stopping the run, but their pass d has still got some big time issues to deal with. If it werent for the turnovers, this game might have been much harder for the Chiefs to compete in.
On the flipside, our Browncos d-line were pretty well handled by the Chiefs o-line. Trevor and the gang were really ineffective and gave Trent all day to pick apart that secondary. Props on having a great line and one that could be the top unit in the NFL.

Well, yes, the playoffs. Therefore, this wasn't our Super Bowl.
As for our defense, they sucked in the first half. In the second half they allowed only 105 yards. And they won the game.

Thats not too hard to believe coming from a chiefs fan.
Seriously.. Is this the first broncos game you've watched? I wouldn't base a bad preformance at arrowhead in december on the whole season.

Super Bowl, when did Dungver move to the NFC ?
Many of you Donk fans are under estimating KC. The D is slowly improving, at least not taking steps backwards. The offense is still good, ( when healthy ) and it showed today. Had KC had healthy players for the game in Denver , it would have been much closer and probally a nail biter like this one was. KC could run the table and keep the pressure on Dungver to win @ SD.
Now for the sad part, neither team today is capable of beating Indy at home the way each played today.

I'm very disappointed with this loss, but I'm not conceding a thing. A couple of things go a bit differently and they could have won the game....nothing left to do except take out the frustrations on Ray Lewis and the shatbirds next week........hard.
Congrats to the Chefs for this one.....it's deserved. Savor that flavor because it'll be a different story the next time we see you (in the fall of 2006)

Hey Roy! Aside from the win, how is the family? Hope the wife is feeling better my friend.
You're right, neither team looked like a world-beater today. But, given that this is a rivalry game, you can pretty much throw out meaningful statistics and trends since these type of games rarely end up being a true indication of the teams.
However, its pretty obvious that KC needs better support for Derrrick J in the middle and that the Broncos have been exposed on blitz packages.

Thanks for the concern, she is holding her own for now, but at anytime it can start to spread and spread rather quickly. We have to watch what she does and how much of it, colds, flus, etc.
Classic AFC West battle........
Best of Luck.

what happened on the Mike anderson 4th and 1 run? whatever. if we win the easy ones (Balt, Oak, at Buf),then we will still win the AFC West, IMO
Yea, I guess congrats to the chiefs for winning their usual dec. SB :) Now you can all quit for the rest of the season :)

I'd say he was about 1/4 yard short. But he was clearly short. I was livid when the refs awarded Denver a first down.
If Anderson had fallen forward, he would have had it. But he got swallowed up by JELLY! ;D

The game was tied up and they called PI against Foxworth that was complete utter bull****...both Chambers and Foxworth were going for the ball....furthermore Chambers stepped OOB. That call basically broke the game open.

Yes but blaming one call for a blowout loss is a bit silly.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Denver wound up +1 on the turnover race. Both QBs threw 2 ints apiece, and Dante Hall fumbled on a punt return. If anything, if it weren't for the turnovers, the Chiefs might have been even more competitive.

I wouldn't base a bad preformance at arrowhead in december on the whole season.
It wasn't a bad performance. Both teams played extremely good football today, both brought their "A" game. KC just won out. But I'd hardly call 131 yards on the ground, 257 yards in the air, and +1 turnover ratio a "bad performance" on Denver's part. I think both teams can be proud of their performance today (even if one of them won't be so happy with the score). Losing to a team bringing its "A" game doesn't sting quite as much as losing to one that brought its "C" game. And a victory over a team that brought its "C" game isn't nearly as sweet as beating one that brought their best.
