UCLA has no defense, Bush is running all over them and will continue to do so throughout the game.

That is true, no one in the Pac-10 has a defense.

I dont think USC can beat Texas. They dont have the D stop em. UCLA is gonna get smoked.

Drew Olsen is playing like sh#$. He has tried to throw to Mercedes Lewis about ten times when he is at least double covered, sometimes triple. Dominique Byrd from USC looks like a pretty good TE prospect.

Ok, ill admit it now. its going to be tough game with USC/Texas. USC is embarrassing UCLA just like Texas did Colorado.

I've really liked Byrd for the last couple of years. He usuallly catches everything thrown his way. This year, though, he looks to be in a lot better Shape. If we could get him in the middle rounds I would be all for it. ;D

I know UCLA does have a lack-luster Defense, but COLORADO in nowhere near the #12 team in the nation. If the USC score is anywhere close to the Texas-CU score you've got to say they were, atleast, equally impressive...

I also have alot of confidence of Pete Carroll's ability to put together a highly successful Defensive Scheme and Game Plan, no matter who they are playing...

This is true, i said earlier that USC would have to blow out UCLA for me to be convinced they would give Texas a game. And USC didnt disappoint and like you said, UCLA is much better than Colorado so ought to be a interesting game to say the least.

I am now watching the Georgia game, TE Lenard POPE is the guy I would really like on our team. The guy is a beast and he comes up BIG. He would solve half of all our Red-zone problems...

BTW- D.J. Shockley could bring about some interesting possibilities as a QB prospect...

Hummm... Srarting to sound alot like last season when all of the SC haters were saying OU would kick their butts and look what happened. USC plays huge when they have too and Carroll gets everything out of his players. Also you have to consider that since the Rose Bowl is like 25 miles from USC that htis will be a HOME game for USC

USC 45 Texas 31 is my prediction.

PS: I am a Florida Gator/AirForce Falcon fan not an SC supporter.

Shockley has no future as a QB, he's just a general athlete.

Thats assuming that USC can score that many points. The Texas D is pretty adequate at slowing down the Trojans. The same cant be said for USC, i think its going to be more like:

Texas- 47
USC- 42

Player of the Game: Vince Young

Ever since Young had his coming out party last year against the Wolverines the boy has been on fire and a real threat on the field. Reggie Bush will win the Heisman but Vince Young will be the player of the game in the National Championship.

If Bush plays anything like the way he has been playing the last few games, he could dominate in the game.

I think one reason BUSH has been SO good the last few games, is because LenDale White has been money between the tackles. He keeps the Defenses honest, and BUSH takes full advantage of his opportunities. Kind of Like the Broncos with Anderson and Bell. I think either of the USC backs would excel in our system.

Thats what I thought, but the last few games I've seen (only saw a few minutes of tonight's game), he looks to be a much better passer than I originally thought. I'm just saying as a late round project with potential (I think), its a curious proposition...

He (Bush) impressed me with his inside running and North-South running today. That was one of the very few areas in his game that I might have slight concerns about, but they were mostly alleviated today. Each game he seems to get better and better...
