Just to, you know, continue to pump up the disdain for the Chefs this week, I thought it might be interesting to run a thread devoted to idiotic comments found on Chefs messageboards - both past and present.

Here is a good one to get started: "Their belief that they have a legitimate rivalry with the Raiders. What's that about? The Chiefs and Raiders have duked it out for 45 years, and both teams just use the Broncos as a warmup. They're just the Chargers with a disregard for the rules."

Even as smack goes, this is an moronic comment. It's funny that they so willingly compare themselves to the Raiders - a pathetic excuse for a franchise right now.

It is interesting to me how jealous the Chiefs seem to be towards the Broncos - both the organization and their fans. I wish the Internet would have been more prominent back in '97, '98, and '99. Those people had to have been on suicide watch.

Anyone else have some they'd care to share? We could start with the brilliant "Eddie Kennison has 200 more yards than your best receiver" comment by Iowanianianian.

Not one Broncos offensive lineman has been flagged for a "chop block" this season. The Broncos were not flagged for those pictures you showed above. In fact, Jacksonville coach Jack Del Rio cleared Denver of wrongdoing for the block on Paul Spicer. It's part of football. Players get injured from all sorts of ****, not just low blocks.

I think they're offensive talent sucks. I can't think of ONE guy on their offense that I would like in a trade, that would be an improvement to the Chiefs offense. I guess you could say that Rod Smith might be an improvement over Sammie Parker, but Parker is the prototypical (speed/cuts) receiver for our offense, so I don't know if it would be an improvement.

It was only good depth in that the starters were no better than the backups. In other words, KC had 9 mediocre players. Other than Pryce, I see the same thing for the Broncos.
