I hate the Chefs because...(Everyone needs to put at least one reason!)

1) I hate their colors.
2) I hate that they have "Show Me State" on all of their license plates. They may as well put "I am a mistrusting a-hole" instead.
3) I know a lot of psycho religious zealots from Missouri.
4) I almost died driving from St. Josephs to Springfield during an ice storm.
5) In the late 19th century, they drove law-abiding Mormons out of their homes in the dead of winter night. Women and children left trails of blood across the plains because they hadn't even been given time to get their shoes. Many children watched as their mothers were raped by the angry mobs. Many children were buried by their parents into shallow graves on the trek from Missouri to Utah - a trek that had to be done in the winter months to avoid the violence of the missourians.
6) In regards to 5), I was there a few years ago when a woman bragged to me that "her granddady was one of the mob that drove the mormons out of Independence, Missouri." I explained to her about the children leaving bloody trails across the plains, and expressed my opinion about how proud she seemed to be about the circumstances. Needless to say, she didn't buy the product I was selling.
7) I didn't like Marty Shottenheimer. I didn't like Gunther Cunningham. And I don't like Dick Vermin.
8) I hate the silly little chant the crowd uses following Chiefs TDs. Something about beating the hell out of you. Nice mullets.

I hate the Chiefs for many of the above reasons, but also because of how sad it is to watch them when the chips are down.

There is no team in the league less professional than the Chiefs. Remember DT completely losing it on MNF, Tony Gonzalez's sideline cheapshot in the week 3 masacre, and if you happened to catch the Bills game there were myriad examples. When the Chiefs are down late they're the cheapest little whiners in the NFL, and that includes the Raiders.

It's as if they believe all the hype they get every year, and are actually surprised when their season is a crumbled mess at their feet. You're in KC fellas, that's what you signed up for.

I don't hate them as much with Priest off the field, though. You almost have to root for LJ, because you know he hates Dicky and the Chiefs almost as much as the Broncos do.

I live in Kansas City and I hate it here.
But, my job pays really well and I just can't get around that.

I have to hear every day about how "awesome" the Chiefs are.
And the best thing you can say about their fans is that they are stupid and they never learn.
Taking Chief fans money is like a second occupation for me.

I hate their stupid uniforms, and their stupid stadium, and I really hate their undeserved reputation as the best tailgating stadium in the NFL. You can't tailgate properly when you only get three hours to do so.

I'll be going to the game on Sunday and it's helps that I'm 6'4 and 240 and I'll be with another Bronco fan who is as big as I am. Chief fan is mostly harmless but some of them are downright dangerous.

Kansas City did yesterday what every other team has done this year, tore up a depleted NE secondary. A necessary win but Green now faces a defense who will hit him hard. Will Kennison's sack shrink again as it inevitbly does in a big game? Will Gonzo get his second touchdown this week? Can LJ actually hang on to the rock for a full game? We'll see. Hopefully, the Chiefs that show Sunday will have a we bit more fight in them than the ones who showed up in Denver this past September.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Eddie Kennison used to play for the Denver Broncos. Rest assured, he will go back only under orders from the NFL.
Those come Sunday when the Chiefs play the Broncos in Denver in a game that has sent a lot of venomous hate flying over the Rocky Mountains.
It all started when Denver Post sports columnist Mark Kiszla, who once likened Steelers coach Bill Cowher to a Labrador retriever, called the 11-1 Chiefs "the biggest frauds in the NFL, a gritty bunch of overachievers destined to run out of gas on the long road to the Super Bowl."
Kiszla points out that the Chiefs' victories have occurred against teams that are 43-65.

When Kiszla asked Broncos linebacker Al Wilson if he is intimidated by the Chiefs, Wilson said: "Intimidated? I can't believe you asked me that. We aren't intimidated by nobody."
Said the Broncos' Reggie Hayward: "For (the Chiefs) to come in and think we're pushovers, we will run them out of Invesco."
Kennison and teammate Scott Fujita didn't appreciate what the Broncos said, Kiszla's opinion or the Las Vegas oddsmakers that have installed the 7-5 Broncos as 2 1/2-point favorites. Fujita called the Chiefs' underdog status "a slap in the face."
Then, he ripped the Broncos.
"Honestly, they've got some guys on their team that talk a little bit too much," Fujita said. "Personally, I think some of them need to learn to keep their (expletive, expletive) mouths shut. That's the way I feel about it."
Kennison, who walked out on the Broncos in 2001 amidst what he called personal problems, has no love for Broncos coach Mike Shanahan.
"Why do you think John Elway left?" Kennison said. "John Elway didn't like the guy. It's just the type of person that he is. It's either his way or no way.
"This weekend, y'all can quote me, y'all can do what you want to do, but we're going to put something on (them), you can believe that. You think I'm not serious? Huh, I'm about to get emotional right now just thinking about it."
When Kennison was informed that it was Kiszla, not a Broncos player, who called the Chiefs frauds, he issued a challenge to the Kansas City media.
"Well, he's scared, too, then. He's scared of y'all, scared about what y'all might write. Our Kansas City media, y'all need to go down there and beat his head. Y'all need to write something about him for writing about y'all team. You know what I'm saying."
If the game ends in a tie, it's computers and tape recorders at 50 paces.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Eddie Kennison used to play for the Denver Broncos. Rest assured, he will go back only under orders from the NFL.
Those come Sunday when the Chiefs play the Broncos in Denver in a game that has sent a lot of venomous hate flying over the Rocky Mountains.
It all started when Denver Post sports columnist Mark Kiszla, who once likened Steelers coach Bill Cowher to a Labrador retriever, called the 11-1 Chiefs "the biggest frauds in the NFL, a gritty bunch of overachievers destined to run out of gas on the long road to the Super Bowl."
Kiszla points out that the Chiefs' victories have occurred against teams that are 43-65.

When Kiszla asked Broncos linebacker Al Wilson if he is intimidated by the Chiefs, Wilson said: "Intimidated? I can't believe you asked me that. We aren't intimidated by nobody."
Said the Broncos' Reggie Hayward: "For (the Chiefs) to come in and think we're pushovers, we will run them out of Invesco."
Kennison and teammate Scott Fujita didn't appreciate what the Broncos said, Kiszla's opinion or the Las Vegas oddsmakers that have installed the 7-5 Broncos as 2 1/2-point favorites. Fujita called the Chiefs' underdog status "a slap in the face."
Then, he ripped the Broncos.

Yeah it was our only trip to Arrowhead, I'd go back. I know it was just a small group of rowdies that did it, so I'm not going to include all chief fans. I've got family that are chiefies, matter of fact just got back from Overland Park for thanksgiving. Had a great time and ran into many a chief fans at a bar where we went to play pool friday, had a great time, and it was fun.

What happened to us is what happens sometime when beer + moron = a disaster. Every team has it's share, it's apart of the game. I'd definately go back now that I'm bigger and older.

Reasons I HATE the Chiefs:

1. They are in the AFC West division, which automatically qualifies them as objects of derision and hate.

2. When Denver was truly BAD (even horrible , and note this means before the nineteen-seventies) and Hank Stram was their coach they routinely ran the score up on those hapless teams. Stram would have Dawson throw deep when the Chiefs were up by 30 or more points in the 4th quarter. For that they earned my special hatred. I take satisfaction, that a higher power has seen fit that they have never been to a superbowl since then, and they have been hapless if they get to the playoffs.

3. Like the Raider fans , they actually think those 60's wins, mean they are a better team than Denver. The last 30 years haven't happened in KC. Which may be why they still wear mullets. Equal hate for both teams there.

4. I hate them because they actually HAVE ruined a few seasons for us, and sometimes have actually won OUR rightful title as division champs. Then choked in the playoffs, therefore not representing the AFC West well. Of course their fans will point to the last two years and our results in Indy. Another reason to hate them!

5. Mostly, I hate them cause they are in our way, and they need to be run over.Nyah!
